I still don't get how that's insulting, other than the misspelling of the name. And thats more of a reflection of the poster than the player. There is such much room to play with the "Le", or the flopping, or the headband, or the choking, or whatever else is often used. Bran just doesn't do it for me. I think it originated from when people started dissing the clueless apr2013/jan2014 dickriders by calling him LeBran Jaime. I remember Jabbar (?) verifying that Bran/bran was a more fitting nickname with the perfect amount of dignity for a player of his statue, as opposed to being a self-proclaimed king.
