If he 4peats, dominates, and wins both FMVP's, even as a Bron hater, i'd probably have him in there. Hell, maybe even 2nd behind MJ.

Probably, might depend on how he plays though. If he plays like he did last finals (average) and they win not sure, but if he dominates like 2012 finals or better, probably.

Shit man first let him even 3 peat. The expectations on lebron are greater than what jordan, kobe, or anyone faced; its partly because he is so great but you cant win every year because there are still other great players. Kd, The spurs have a bunch, cp3 and blake, paul g and the pacers(waken up recently); its not like the nba has nobody else

I don't know if he actually came up with the idea, but the first person I saw use a "tier" system instead of ordered ranks was fpliii. It's a much better way to compare players, because in certain cases there is no clear superior.

Would LeBron be "top 3" all time if he were to 4-peat? I suppose... but I think the most reasonable thing to say at that point would be that he's in the upper-most tier of players with no CLEAR-CUT superior. Though I still think nothing he could do would give him the edge against Jordan.

Yes, he would be top 3 all-time. I have more than 4 pears, maybe Bron should leave MIA and come join me if pears were so important to his legacy.

Dude doesn't even have 3 yet.

Might as well ask:
If Duncan gets a repeat and 6 total championships, where does he rank?
Is CP3 a top 3 all time PG if he gets back to back championships?
Where does Westbrook rank with 2 championships?
Where does Ray Allen rank if he bails LeBron out 3 years in a row?

other than the first one, none of these scenarios are likely to happen at all. there is a a very high chance lebron 3 peats. and a good change he wins it again next year.

Please explain to me how Westbrook ending up with 2 rings isn't plausible at all? He's on a team with Kevin Durant..set aside your hatred for one moment.

This Clippers team, with another year of experience with Doc Rivers, wouldn't be contenders next year? They're already an elite team this year, in their first season with Doc. With another year of development for Blake/DJ under an elite coach, I don't understand how the idea of the Clippers winning a chip or two is so ludicrous.

he meant 2 rings in 2 years for westbrook...

you think the clippers are gonna win it all this year? i dont see them getting past the spurs.

why are you saying "a chip or two"? he meant winning it back to back

IF he should threepeat in this unbelievable strong NBA he would automatically be at least top 5 all time.
on a non stacked team he would have beaten the stacked, alltime great defensive Paers, a very stacked Nets team were players get paid under the table by a russian mob boss, the insanely stacked thunder or Spurs.
most impressive threepeat ever:applause:

Let's be honest they aren't 4peating. They will (after this year) have been to the finals 4 years in a row, that has got to be taking a toll on them, and they aren't exactly a young team

A 4 peat has been done exactly one time in NBA history. If he 4 peats it would be the only time in NBA history post merger/expansion, and in the 82 game/7 series era. I couldn't see a logical argument for not including him in the top 3 players of all time with 4 straight titles, and fmvps.

Add on to that a very likely 5th MVP next season (unless Durant plays much better than he did this year, those are the only two with a realistic shot at MVP).

Lebron would be the GOAT times if he got 4 pears and 2 apples. And two grapes to go along with his Finals MVPs.

lol you don't think if Bron 5 peated he would be over Jordan? Lordi.

4 Peat would put him as arguable GOAT imo, and that's from someone who said his legacy is ****ed cuz he went to Miami. Nobody 4 peats or 5 peats in the modern era. If it happens, expect Bron to be GOAT.

A 4 peat?

Wow...he'd be up there with anyone at that point assuming he played great like he has the last 2 years.

That would be crazy....

But would also be a testament to just how historically bad the East is right now with no signs of getting better.
