Uncontested FG is my favorite new stat of those allowed by "player tracking".
In many respects it allows you to solve for "luck" in a single game.
It is defined as a shot when there is no defender within 4ft

Those are the stats for the Clipper/Thunder game.
Clippers shot 40.5% on uncontested shots and the Thunder shot 52.8%.
Clipper offense generated 8 more uncontested shots than Thunder.
In that game, if both teams had shot average % on uncontested looks, the Clippers would have won relatively easily considering the quality of shots their offense was generating.
NBA is a "make or miss" league... there is a large element of luck in games and that stat - when two teams are relatively evenly matched - lets you see how much bad/good luck influences a win.
