There aren't many athletes with Rose's resolve (or low I.Q.) but these types of injuries are also mentally devastating. I don't think he'll ever be back to the "MVP" Rose we knew. He's definitely talented, but he'll have to change his game quite a bit to become relevant again.

Have you actually seen the guy play? Dude is a low IQ player. He does have games where he's hot (once in 10-15 games) and he scores, but his passing is terrible. He's an decent defender, but nowhere near the top 10.

He started driving to the rim literally the first time he stepped on to an NBA court after his injury. He needs to understand that's not a smart way to play and really change his, and not just say it.

I hope he can get back to a 20/4/7 guy with respectable shooting numbers. Dont know how plausible that is, atleast for next season. He could be a 2nd option to Melo if he ends up going to Chicago, and i think those numbers are still achievable even if Melo is there. If rose can come back and average 19ppg 7apg and 4rg over a 8-10 year span and win a ship or two i think he could possibly get in....of course he would have to be finals mvp of those ships.

The "elite" days for rose are prolly over tho...so no more season mvps....reserve allstar appearances. Second best player on his team maybe even third best some nights.
