MVP a few seasons ago, now who is he? Was it all just a flash in the pan? :confusedshrug:

There aren't many athletes with Rose's resolve (or low I.Q.) but these types of injuries are also mentally devastating. I don't think he'll ever be back to the "MVP" Rose we knew. He's definitely talented, but he'll have to change his game quite a bit to become relevant again.

He could be the only MVP ever to not make the HOF. The only other 3 (James, Iverson, Durant) who aren't in already are pretty much locks.

Mario Chalmers

Dont sleep on Mario. Alot of people are gonna be suprised next year if he ends up leaving Miami to be a 2nd/3rd option somewhere. The guy can pass and really hit the three ball. His defense is also in the top 10 for point guards.

What in the **** are you talking about? Mario Chalmers isn't a 2nd or 3rd option ANYWHERE.

On a championship team, Mario Chalmers is a 7th option

Duncan, Kobe, Garnett. Those guys ain't in yet bro.

Anyway, Rose will return a 19/4/6 player on okay shooting numbers.

The guy is good offensively, just limited because the Heat have such great players. Feel free to quote this next year, but if he leaves Miami yall are gonna be shocked how well Chalmers can really play.

:oldlol:

Have you actually seen the guy play? Dude is a low IQ player. He does have games where he's hot (once in 10-15 games) and he scores, but his passing is terrible. He's an decent defender, but nowhere near the top 10.

I don't know, but I guess this board would know.

He still being talked about a heck of a lot despite not really having played in the last last three playoffs. This is the first year KD had more threads at this time of year.

If Wilt played today and he was in his prime, Miami MIGHT consider to trade Rio for Wilt.

He started driving to the rim literally the first time he stepped on to an NBA court after his injury. He needs to understand that's not a smart way to play and really change his, and not just say it.

Relied. His entire game is based on explosiveness

I hope he can get back to a 20/4/7 guy with respectable shooting numbers. Dont know how plausible that is, atleast for next season. He could be a 2nd option to Melo if he ends up going to Chicago, and i think those numbers are still achievable even if Melo is there. Also there needs to be more contenders out East so i hope for the best

he was never really the MVP anyway, there were a number of guys who should have won over him. Dwight should have easily won that season.

If rose can come back and average 19ppg 7apg and 4rg over a 8-10 year span and win a ship or two i think he could possibly get in....of course he would have to be finals mvp of those ships.

The "elite" days for rose are prolly over tho...so no more season mvps....reserve allstar appearances. Second best player on his team maybe even third best some nights.

He's literally useless if he's not driving to the rim so what do you want him to do?

13.7 PPG-3.7 RPG-5.9 APG while shooting 35.5% FG and 22% from 3 and 76.2% from FT (all career lows by far)

Either all of the claims of him being "110% healthy" and "better than ever" are all bullshit, or he just doesn't give a **** about effort anymore.

At this rate I agree, he'll probably be the first regular season MVP who will never be elected in to the Naismith HoF.

Considering what the Bulls got in return, it leads me to believe the Bulls made offers to other teams but were very interested.
