Both Great PGs Who are great leaders
Both very efficient scorers
Both have big cocks
Both get the best out there teammates
Both Good defenders especially Cp3
Who would You Take?
Me personally iLL Take TP Because he's more of a attacker n scorer
Then cp3 and he can also still keep the team involved at the same time jus Like cp3
Who would You take?

Parker. Paul can't do what Tony Parker does in Pop's system anyway. This version of Paul is clearly past his prime.

Parker's not a good defender, he does almost nothing better than Paul. Not close.
What does Parker do better than Curry?

Paul is overrated & Parker is underrated.
Parker is way more decisive in his decision making and gets his treammates involved better
Parker has consistently been the best player on a team that wins 50-60 wins per year for 5-7 years, yes the system is great, but Parker is a huge reason for that.
Parker is the smarter player in my opinion

Is the goal to have deep playoff runs or to not make the playoffs or get bounced early every year?

With the help of BG and DJ stepping their games up to an insane level, a great coach, and a lights out shooter...
Parker has been FMVP. He has rings. He is better.

The KEY premium asset at PG is dropping dimes and being a floor general. If u happen to be a great scorer with it then that's even better. I think the PG's that combine those facets the best are the PG's I prefer. Paul falls into that group along with Magic, Big O, Isiah, Nash, Frazier, Tiny, Payton, etc.
But u also have great point guards who are more score first PG's. They have great handles and are very good passers. But they actually kind of see the game like many great SG's do. Parker is one of these kind of PG's like Rose, Westbrook, Arenas, etc. AI was like this as well early in his career. But AI was so devastating at scoring that Larry Brown moved him to SG.
Basically, Paul and Parker are both great HOF kind of PG's. But I would take Paul on my team over Parker. Paul has alpha dog scoring capabilities, is a better pure PG than Parker, and a better defender. But many people prefer a Parker, Rose, or Westbrook style PG so I wouldn't argue too hard against it cause those guys are great players too.
The answer is CP3 and it isnt even close. Tony Parker doesnt even get the ball in crunch time. Manu Ginobli does.

When Paul gets the FMVP you can say it isn't close
Until then Parker is better

yea ik
The best PF Ever
arguably the best 6th man ever
and arguably the Best coach ever is no help
Sure worked out pretty well for the teams that have had Paul so far right
This is the first year Paul has had real talent around him.
Tony Parker is good, but he has always had Popovich, Duncan, and Manu Ginobli.
Put Chris Paul on the Spurs and Tony Parker on the Hornets(:oldlol: ) and the Clippers. Can you really tell me with a straight face that Chris Paul would be ringless and Tony Parker would consistently make it out the first round?

I think both teams get worse on a Parker-Paul swap.
Duncan, Parker and Manu have played 800 games together ... at this point, Spurs' strength is their familiarity.
If I'm starting from scratch, I take Paul.
:oldlol: :oldlol:
Name a year where Paul as played with anyone close to Manu and Duncan or Popovich.
Chris Paul's best players have been David West, Tyson Candler, and Blake Griffin. Who took a huge step this year. :confusedshrug:

Tyson Chandler and David West? That's better than Indy's big men and was great help defensively w/ a 20 pt scorer for second option and some good outside shooters. More than what Dirk had the years he went to the finals

Indy's big men are in the East and havent won shit. What are you trying to say? They are comparable to the help Tony Parker has had? :oldlol:
I never once claimed Chris Paul was better than Dirk. :confusedshrug:

I think the Clippers get better. Parker is better at utilizing big men and wouldnt get in Griffin's way much.

Tony Parker is a better scorer
dont think u can really dispute that

Better at utilizing big men how?
How would Tony Parker get in Griffin's way less than Chris Paul?

I can agree to this.

I hate saying 'it ain't close'... but it really isn't. The only thing Parker does better is finish layups. Paul is better in every other aspect... shooting, playmaking and defense. Parker gets an absurd amount of credit for the success of his team, while his failures are brushed under the carpet.
