I honestly thought Spo was becoming a good coach last year, but it was just chance that he was playing the right players. It was just coincidence that all his favorite pets on the team just so happened to be the best options at the time as well.

I think it's a combination of "low-post defense" and disciplining Beasley. Making him grow up. He got a lot of press when he was in the normal rotation and maybe that got him acting like old B-Easy.

Beasly is a better rebounder overall though. I dont mind Lewis getting minutes but only if he is actually performing. If he sucks or if Beasly sucks pull them out.

The only player with leeway is Battier. If he is defending well then you live with his offense.

I'm all for playing the best player, but trying to justify someone playing by saying he grabbed some rebounds really isn't it.

If Beasley played poorly, I'd say to take him off, but he rarely does. And when he does, it is for a minute, and he gets taken off immediately. Shard makes mistake after mistake after mistake and stays in the game.

It really is like playing with 4 players when he is out there. You can't have a player that cannot score the ball at all on the court. Shane Battier when he needs to, puts the ball on the floor and is actually decent on the drive. Shard does none of that. Plus he sucks on defense.
