It's nothing new. Kobe scores 60+, 70+, even 81 against crap teams in REGULAR SEASON, then the playoffs rolls around and he only has one 50 point game:facepalm Isn't he supposed to be one of the greatest scorer ever? It's not like he can do everything else like Lebron. Scoring isn't even Lebron's greatest strength:confusedshrug:

Love how a lot of posters always talk about the Miami Cavaliers and how stacked Kobe's Lakers were outside of the mid 2000's. Then we get a thread like this.

Lebron is supposedly on a team with a declining Wade and non factor with Bosh. If anything, he should have MORE games like that because if his team is so bad, then he should be carrying them. Same with him in Cleveland where he had NO help according to posters.

Kobe on the other hand had so stacked teams that he's not even considered FMVP but is chastised for because he doesn't have that many 49 point games in regulation. If he did, people would be all over him for being a hog and not sharing with his HOF teammates :facepalm .

How come it's 49 and not 48.
And besides, is there a magnificent difference between 45 and 49?
because Kobe has
50-8-5
49-10
48-16-3
45-6
45-10-3
games in the PO too

pretty much this. kobe got the "best scorer" title from scoring a bunch of points in the regular season vs. trash defensive teams.

pretty much this. Lebron got the "great player" title from scoring a bunch of points in the eastern conference playoffs vs. trash defensive teams.
