This was the rest game. Blazers went all out tonight, spurs rested. Most predictable game 5 blowout.

These types of desperation wins happen all the time. Spurs will win the series.

I wouldn't call it a devastating loss. They didn't really seem too into it compared to the Blazers.

I hate to use the "They just wanted it more" but it might actually apply in this case.

Nope.

They will lose 5 and 6. Win in 7 because of HCA and experience. Then get rocked by either LAC or OKC all because of this loss.

Calling it devastating is an overstatement. Spurs lost this game more than the Blazers won it. Everyone on the team was bricking their shots if you watched the game.

Blazers will be in their

well at least we didn't get sweep mode

not sure why but the NBA is plagued with give up attitude it is actually quite surprising how much teams just give up compared to other sports.

Blowing out of proportion... This is the cooling down moment of the Spurs. Knowing them, a blow-out is in order next game!

I would just like to have a long competitive epic series. Not sudden sweep, glad Portland won.

Pop knew a letdown was coming after 3 superb games - also that POR would fight hard not to be swept. That's why he played Duncan 38 minutes in game 3 to secure that one - all going to plan - lose game 4 and win at home game 5. POR doesn't get swept and Pop has lots to b**** about to the team to pump them up for game 5. Still get at least one more day's rest than winner of OKC/LAC.

Am I the only person who saw this as basically a troll thread with the OP being facetious?
