So what? No advantage was gained by Lebron by flopping as he didn't get a call on Joe. Lebron had 5 fouls and couldn't show any inkling of contact on Joe, so he basically took himself out of the play and went for a 1 in 100 offensive foul call chance.
What is Joe complaining about? He had an uncontested 10-footer as a result and barely grazed the rim.

Because of the flop, Joe Johnson found himself wide open for an easy shot. So what did he do in that situation? He missed the easy shot. If I were Joe Johnson, I'd be more mad at missing an open shot than LeBron or any defender flopping. Take the open shot and hit it.

this what a retarded piece of crap.
lebron got called for the most ridiculous shit on defense.
he had to do this to not pick up a foul. it was amazing how he could still defend iso joe on the last possesions with 5 fouls.
iso-retard shouldnt complain,he flopped twice to get lebron in foul trouble. also lebron basically dared him to shoot a wide open 10 footer which this retard nearly airballed:roll:
but but he flopped and gave me a wide open shot:cry:

What is his point? Even if Lebron did flop there, so what? Is that what made him miss the shot? Or maybe he thought it should be a foul or something? But if that made him miss the shot doesnt that mean there was contact? Or he wanted the foul just because Lebron flopped made him mentally miss that shot or something?

Lebron absolutely flopped and I laughed when he did it. He had 5 fouls and didn't want to pick up the 6th so he took himself out of the play and tried to play mind games with Iso Joe. It was a great move that would have been unacceptable had he not had 5 fouls though.

I don't like beta players that the media hypes up as alpha. I don't like beta ring chasers leaving their own team, as opposed to having players come to them. I don't like beta players pretending to be alpha and then forming a super team on a finals MVP's team in his prime.

Every single player in the NBA flops.
Why is this still seen as a big deal? If the refs are too stupid to see it and the NBA doesn't penalize it much, of course players will continue doing it. It helps their team win. Flop away.

LoL. I really hope you are not an MJ fan because he left basketball for a couple of years. He left bulls when he was their best player.
If you think that someone who left after playing for 7 years after reaching the "unrestricted free agent" status didn't care about basketball integrity then i am sure you think that Jordan thought of basketball and bulls as things that were his toys and he could come and go as whenever he wanted.
I don't mind MJ leaving for a couple of years or Lebron leaving after playing for 7 years but guys like you who have such a false definition of loyalty must hate MJ.

Honestly Bran doesn't even flop that much anymore. Wade and Bosh are 2 of the most disgusting floppers in the league... perhaps the league has ever seen, but Lebron has the stigma because he's such a high profile icon. Well I guess how bad Lebron's flops actually look doesn't help his case either.
edit: Joe has no excuse not to hit that shot. Lebron being on the floor gives a better chance for the Nets to get a board as well since (sadly) the Heat small forward is probably their best rebounder.

Flopping is just a major part of the game now unfortunately, basketball is not any better than soccer anymore (maybe even worse). It's become a sissified sport.
All the major players in the NBA seem to do it now, and quite often, so I don't if you can just blame 1 or 2 guys.
I mean yeah in the 80s/90s, sure it happened but like once in a while, not every game or every other game.

Why does that change for other players? Do you whine this much about every illegal screen that a player doesn't get called for because if you don't then you are just insecure about what other people think about you and your masculinity.
Blame the league for not increasing the fine to a way bigger amount and not the players. They are just trying to win.

Did Jordan try draw a foul, take a charge or sell a call? Like this he does here for example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7vKVIwfCj4
or
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jL84Sqgum0
or
https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_332682831&feature=iv&src_vid=l7vKVIwfCj4&v=BtVJ48UBcCE
If your answer is yes to that then there you go....
Thats what flopping is afterall, selling a call or drawing a call, putting a bit extra sauce on it.... taking charges specifically is the most common flop and contradictory is very accepted and hailed, when people take charges you hear "Great defensive play!"
MJ just like any player you could ever imagine did accumulate some "flops", all players have... some more, some less... but nobody has ever "not flopped"... thats impossible since trying to draw or sell a call, taking a charge etc. has always been a part of the game.... those are actually fundamentals you learn from your coach in practice when you first start playing organized basketball as a toddler...
The only difference between MJ and Lebron in this department is the difference of eras, in his era a flop was "A veteran move!", they were saluted... Hell Reggie Miller is my favorite player of all time and he was maybe the biggest flopper of all time, "How many tricks up his sleeve does he got!?", all of it was far more saluted than if he would have done that stuff today...
The other difference is that Lebron has ALOT more haters than Jordan had, they record & then gif or make a highlight out of any of it on youtube, NOTHING goes missed.... passionately working their ass of to find material they can fap to in order to forget how miserable they are considering their favorite players/teams outcomes which Lebron was most possibly responsible for or just insecurity or maybe still upset Cavs fans maybe or whatever......... one day its traveling trying to make him look like the guy who traveled the most of all time, one day post move failures, missed shots in clutch/choking, asterix stuff, then this... what will be next...
