Seems legit. Always interesting to drive to the southwest corner of Michigan and slowly begin noticing a significant uptick in Chicago Cubs gear. It'd be only natural to assume the Bulls would begin creeping in around that way as well.

Cool map. Appreciate the share.

Raptors Rule Much of Canada

Not surprisingly, Facebook users in Toronto and across much of Canada have thrown in with the Raptors. Don’t read too much into the Lakers' lead in northern Canada: Almost no one actually lives there. (Don’t count on visiting a Lakers bar on your trip to the Arctic Circle.) However popular they are in Canada, the Raptors have little support south of the border.

Jeez, Lakers killing the midwest. I always forget those states even exist.

What's with the Bulls contingent at that Arizona/Mexico border?

Map is confusing until you click the link. The darker the color, the higher percentage of fans of that particular team.

For example, most of the country is purple which means Lakers have the most fans in that particular area. Most of the Southeast is grey which means the Heat have most fans in that area.

A quick google says the closest team to Ur (https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Ur&hl=en&ll=30.961197,46.1064&spn=0.031464,0.066047&sll=30.975254,46.135712&sspn=1.006701,2.113495&hnear=Ur,+Nassriya,+Dhi+Qar,+Iraq&t=m&z=15) is a Division 2 Women's team in Nasiriyah. The closest Men's team is Nift Al-Janoob in Basra.

The league should contract and realign. If I was in charge, it would go like this:

Pacific Division: Golden State, LA Clippers, LA Lakers, Portland, Phoenix, Sacramento

Southwest Division: Dallas, Denver, Houston, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Utah

Central Division: Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Indiana, Milwaukee, Minnesota

Atlantic Division: Boston, Brooklyn, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Washington

Goodbye Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis, New Orleans, Orlando, Toronto.

The Clippers are the 3rd most popular team in LA county? That's a shame.

are the rockets the realest team ever assembled?
