You sound great, nothing amateur about your flow or sound. I hear some other guys out trying to make it and they just sound so unpolished and crummy, that's not you. You have the tools to do this and that's more than half the battle.

I had a couple ideas for you.

First is maybe more of an exercise, do a verse or verses on one topic. it can be some well worn cliche shit like "weed" or "sex" or you could get weird with it and do "artificial intelligence" or "abortion" or some shit. Just pick one theme, think about all the shit that you think about it, all the shit you think the general public thinks about it, then riff. Maybe not something you want to build a mixtape around but might get you off of just doing sort of general, broad bars.

Then I had an idea for a project where you represent several different voices in hip hop. Be like "The 7 P's" or some shit. Preacher, poet, prophet, pimp, pusher, police, punk (just an example, make it your own). And you could either have them each be totally made up characters where you're like telling a story through these characters or you could just sort of filter yourself through the parts of you that relate to those archetypes. Like, you're obviously not a real pimp who's procuring women but you could have the "pimp" part express your lusty side, and the preacher part express all the ways that you feel righteous and maybe even sanctimonious, the poet express all sorts of abstract and creative bars, the pusher express the ways you've gotten f*cked up, and so on. Be a cool way to flex some different styles and touch on all sorts of shit.
