View Full Version : Has anyone ever choked as bad as Chris Paul did last night?

Hits a shot with 49 seconds left to put the Clippers up 7, Starts pounding his chest as if he's some world beater. And then...
1. Inexplicably tries to hoist up a full court shot when the Clippers are up 2 with <24 seconds left to get 3 FTs... even though they NEVER call those fouls a shooting foul. Instead, he gets stripped and gives the Thunder the possession.
2. Fouls Westbrook on a 30 footer that most likely had no chance of going in
3. Doesn't even get a shot off in the last possession despite having 6 seconds to do something with the ball
Ladies and gentlemen, this is why Chris Paul is a loser. Granted, the Clippers got screwed by the officiating and probably should have won the game... but they would never have been in that position if CP3 doesn't have a complete meltdown.
This was CP3's chance to finally silence the doubters and start crafting a legacy for himself. He hit what should have been a dagger jumper with 49 seconds left. Was on the verge of winning a PIVOTAL game 5 on the road which would have led to a close-out game at home in game 6. And he f*cking blew it.

this was pretty bad. I've seen worse. Way worse. Too bad his teammates weren't there to bail him out. Like the others.

I dont think he choked so bad, and to be honest when he went on the bench in the 2nd quarter OKC made a run, and when they got him back him he had the offense flowing. The team aint winning without CP3 but he did have a bad stretch at the end. OKC took momentum but Cp3 is there best player this series.

1. Agreed, that was stupid.
2. That was a soft foul, and the refs bailed out Westbrook hard. Reminded me of Paul George getting three FTAs in game 1 of last year's ECF when Wade didn't even touch him.
3. He was fouled by Jackson.

No Lebron fan should speak of choking. Every star has there bad moments but no one forgets Lebrons chokes lol
hes compared to MJ but goes from shooting 27ppg to like 17 in the finals. Dude dissappeared in 2011

there are even worse. Like the Ray Allen shot to singlehandedly saved Lebron's legacy. Ray Allen, aka Jesus, aka the legacy saver.
Good thing Ray Allen decided to ring chase, because Lebron would be a 1 ring wonder right now.

No Spurs fans should speak of choking after last year.

kobe turned into rodman though and won them the game
his defense and rebounding that game were legendary
ray allen = 3 for 14
paul pierce = 5 for 15
total = 8 for 29
kobe bryant = 15 rebounds

After game 6, people were talking about Kobe being the finals MVP regardless of game 7's outcome.
F*ck outta here with that. :oldlol:

yeah. You are raging right now. Truth is, Lebron has had the biggest chokes of all time and the biggest bail outs by his HOF teammates.

Speaks volumes about Kobe's minuscule impact.
