We have to start acknowledging that LBJ is so much superior than any other player in the NBA atm. Imagine if D wade played better than Lebron in 2 series, what people would say. RW has been far superior to KD in these series.

The highest drop-off in the last 10 years from an MVP.

I guess it should be noted its only good to compare 2 players with similar minutes, otherwise speights gonna get paid.

I don't want to seem like i'm interfering with the data, so I left it as it is.

Who the hell cares about a shitty stat that has Blair, Gibson, Speights, Barton, and Birdman to make up half of a top 10 list? :hammerhead:

The last time anyone had this sort of gap in PER was 2008-2009.

Lebron's best postseason in which he was still criticised...

Look at it in conjunction with wins added and value added, otherwise you just get the most efficient players....

Wasn't this the stat that Durant stans used to validate Durant's regular season MVP?

Only useful when it suits your agenda.

Too many morons on this site. PER is useful as a comparison tool for players that play roughly the same minutes per game.

Ty, plus the only reason Westbrook and Durant's wins added are close to Lebron is due to the fact that they have played more games.

Kingwillball

Well the people who know basketball said during regular season the cream would rise to top and separate himself come postseason. Anybody who had any questions or doubted who the best player was should not anymore. Lebron is clearly the class of the league still.

This is basically why I said its best to look at players with similar minutes, because retards like him will say that its a really dumb stat.

That's like saying FG% is "terrible" because Tyson Chandler leads everybody. You gotta take into account shot attempts, just like you gotta factor in minutes with PER.

They are the same people that discount RAPM simply because players like Birdman are very efficient in their minutes and have a high number beside their name:lol

PER needs context (Minutes Played Per Game)

PER, WS/48, ORtg, USG%, DRtg, etc. need to be used in conjunction ... work pretty well.

For the sake of simplicity
