There was a report done on his work ethic, eating habits and lifestyle. It was amazing. He has like never had a hamburger in his life, or something close to that. (No Joke) Its total dedication. He is a HOFamer who could get another ring this year.

He is quietly leading Miami with that veteran leadership.

The last of a dying breed. Kobe and Ray Ray.

Ray Allen is a super version of Robert Horry.

Because Robert Horry was ever the best player on two teams (bucks, sonics) and one of the best players on the Celtics right? Robert Horry in his prime on the Rockets was considered a poor...POOR man's Pippen even then. He never did anything in his career but make wide ope shots that the starts on the teams he played with set up.

He does, its just that the age does not matter as much for his role in the team. Theres a reason why KG aged so bad compared to PP as well.

I already said Ray is better than Horry.

Anyways, you are too young to have watched Horry with the Rockets. He use to dunk on people with ease. Crazy athletic.

Put Ray on the D'Antoni diet and he would die before the all-star break.

Super strict diet and fitness regime has added to his longevity. He hasn't really declined, he can still dunk and his defense has gotten better.

He has more key moments with Miami than Lebron.

Tonight's defense was just another one of them.

Yep I got Ray around 8 too among SG's:

MJ
Kobe
Wade
West
Drexler
AI
Gervin
Ray
Miller
Monroe

Ray also is arguably the greatest shooter ever. So he can kill you by playing without the ball. Miller also had crazy longevity as well being a very effective gunner. Ray is also a better all around player than Miller as well so that also plays to his advantage. Nash also had great longevity until just a couple years ago. But don't sleep on Pierce though. Pierce still is doing his thing and still a top 10 caliber SF in the L. In KG's case, the problems started with that serious knee injury a few years ago while with Boston. He hasn't really been the same since.

His work ethic and diet has extended his career. Plus being a shooter helps. He doesn't have to put his body on the line as much. He had tired legs in the regular season, but the rest and it being the playoffs has really woken him up.

He's should have been the finals MVP in 08, he had one bad game in that series, but set a record for three's in one game, went for 30 plus in another, him and KG really were the backbone of the prime Celtics. People seem to forget the 55 point game in 09 Playoffs against the Bulls and made that clutch fade away three over Noah.

Now he's eased the pressure of Miami with all these big plays.

Are you sure you're a Heat fan? Do you watch the games?

Defense gotten better? During the regular season he was one of, if not the worst perimeter defender in the league. Not exaggerating. Actually the case.

I remember a game against GSW, where he probably had 60-70 points, dropped on his head alone. Whoever he guarded, scored.

He has been good so far in the playoffs, just based off the Brooklyn series, but his defense is atrocious.

Yeah right. The man's actually been addicted to sugar and carbs.
