On TNT they said the Nets have roughly $90M committed to salaries next year, including KG's deal, so there's very little they can do to improve the roster.

They *could* offer KG + 2nd round pick for Josh Smith (pretty sure KG is gonna retire anyway this summer). Nothing more than a salary dump for Detroit, but I'm sure SVG would at least consider that. Smith played out of position all year, but he's making too much $ for his production and Brooklyn has shown it will take on $ just to make incremental improvements. I think Smith playing next to Lopez may be a decent fit, especially if Brooklyn next year again plays 3 guard line-ups to space the floor.
