Remember after they lost to Grizzles in 2011: "Spurs are done, end of an era, top old derp derp derp".

Since then: 3 straight trips to the Conference finals. In a TOUGH and STACKED Conference btw.

The team of the century so far. Yes, they won less championships than the Lakers, but they're the only team to have remained a contender for 15+ years essentially without interruption. Their run of success is comparable to the 57 to 69 Celtics (especially if you take into account the reduced number of teams/series) and 80 to 92 Lakers.

Spurs are stacked as fck.
they have a tendency to choke tho and we will have to see if they do it again this year.
at this point they are the favorites if they overcome the pathetic rigging okc will receive once again

So you admit the Heat won last year because SA choked? So it's not because the Heat were better? Thank You

This Spurs team is not built for playoffs. In the playoffs rotations get smaller and teams rely heavily on the stars. That is the complete opposite of this spurs team which relies on a 10 man rotation and ball rotation.

when the shots are falling its as good as gold, but when players go cold, like danny green, manu, and gary neal did in the losses vs the heat (and 2012 vs OKC) its always an automatic loss because besides parker, there is noone that can take over a game. OKC and Miami have those players that can score at will when there is a scoring drought.

I still believe that we can make it to the finals and win but the odds are definitely against SA.

Danny Green went ice cold after game 5, as did SAS's perimeter shooting in general.. yet they had a 5 pt lead late in the fourth quarter of game 6, and were a duncan missed layup away from tying it with like a minute left in game 7.

Spurs are extremely versatile.. they can kill you from anywhere on the court.

They need a prime TD to back to the glory...

Spurs getting things done. Good for them. :applause: Pop did make some questionable moves late in games during last years finals. Don't see him blowing another opportunity if they make it to the finals.

Why didn't they win Game 7 if they were the better team?

3 straight conference finals, in an ultra stacked conference, is more success than some teams have experienced over the course of their entire franchise.

If your favorite team hasn't been to the conference finals three times in the past three years you are not allowed to talk shit in this thread.
