seeing that the makers of the arrow are behind this, I'll put faith on it. Hopefully they dont make this show cheesy though, since The Flash has a more cooler and happy personality than Arrow.

but like I said, Arrow is the best superhero tv series ever.

The Flash has always been one of my favorite comic book characters too so I'm super excited about this.

I never got into Smallville so I can't really say. I heard it was good though but I tried like the 1st season and I couldn't stomach it. I'm not really a superman fan though.

First ep. was decent but kinda corny. I'm not familiar with the comics so I don't know if Dr.Crip is in the comics or not but the ending was pretty predictable.

I'll continue to watch the show for the hell of it. After watching though I just realized how lame the Flash is as a super hero.
The show won't be close to what he is in the comic books.

Theres something lame about judging Flash simply from the pilot of a show.

Yeah from the on tv superheroes I've seen this Flash actor has been the best by far.

Smallville guy was a terrible actor (always looked like he was in some sort of emotional pain) and the Arrow actor/etc is just lame. Dude isn't even a superhero...he just shoots Arrows. It's ridiculous.

The show started off slow but really picked up in the last 4-5 episodes. The acting could be cheesy from time to time. The special effects in this show is pretty good especially for a TV budget.

That's just to explain the mechanics of time travel to the audience. They'll bring back all of it really soon. They just need to walk the non-comic book readers through the basics of time travel before they do the Flashpoint storyline.

The way Eobard Thawne killed and absorbed Wells reminded me how Cell absorbed people in DBZ. Poor Wells he really was a good guy after all.
Maybe Barry goes back in time, changes stuff and real Wells survives. Looks possible with where Arrow is heading, Ollie needs some past changing too.

I really like the finale. Definitely did not see eddie killing himself, i thought maybe joe had shot the reverse flash but it was good to see eddie recognizing his role. Love will make u do crazy stuff.
Yea that was well done, didn't see it coming either.

My only problem was the cliff hanger, when the black hole started I was looking at the time left in the episode and was like WTF?!?! I want the season to end with some bit of closure to its main story. Now we have to wait till October to see how Barry manages to save the world.

Wouldn't Wells/RF dying reset that timeline? Meaning Barry's Mom would still be alive and he wouldn't be the Flash.

I mean the whole facility disappeared like RF did.

Probably the best episode of any show I have ever seen, it had it all, great effects, great plot twists, magnificent acting and a bit of action to top it all off.
I'm very sad that the harrison wells actor will probably not return, he's one of the best actors I've seen.
10/10 episode, great finale.

The Flash most likely will enter an alternate timeline where Jay Garrick is the Flash. Also the producers said they will introduce more speedsters.

Is no one watching this? I don't think it's your typical superhero tv show, it has its dark twist in its own way. One thing I like is they try & put effort to genuinely connect the audience with its main characters. His girl bestfriend can die though, she has no purpose in the show whatsoever, unless she turns into something in the future.

So literally every Flash comics fan saw this coming, but since I'm not one I was confused as **** too. I'm thinking one of these two theories:

-The man in the mask is the real E2 Jay Garrick, and Zoom is Hunter Zolomon. The Jay that was killed was Zoom from a different timeline and definitely in on the whole thing.

or

-Dead Jay mentioned that he got greedy with his speed and kept injecting himself with the velocity stuff. My guess is that the real Jay is the man in the mask and the experiments probably had a side effect of splitting him into two, and Zoom is a manifestation of the greedy speed demon who trapped him in that cell. At that point I'm not sure what to think of dead Jay. What I'm certain of is that he was working with Zoom the whole time, and part of this whole plan was to get Caitlin to figure how to stop Jay from slowly dying, which I'm guessing is something Zoom is suffering from as well.

I'm pumped to see how they explain all this.

EDIT: Another thought is that dead Jay is a clone of either masked Jay or Zoom, and Zoom is Hunter Zolomon. The "complication" is that his mole/clone went against the plan and helped them close the last portal.

Here's my theory..

Remember, Zoom was traveling through other universes wanting to kill the Flash in all of them. Perhaps there was another different universe where our Jay was from and Zoom from E2 took him. We now invoke 3 different universes into the mix. It changes the whole dynamics of the situation.

In that universe, it may be that Wally West is the Flash. Think about it. They didn't bring our Wally West back for no reason. They are preparing us to meet the other Wally West aka Flash after Barry Allen. Our Flash from E1 and Wally West from E3 may together kill Zoom from E2.

That may mean the Flash from E2 is dead or not yet become the Flash. Our Jay was from E3 and Jay from E2 is the zoom. Jay (Hunter Zolomon) from E1 is clueless of anything.

I didn't find it boring for weeks now--I think I'm sucked into this show.
This may have been the most boring episode in weeks for me, but I think it has something to do with me seeing that Zoom's identity is revealed in advance. I didn't see who he was in advance, but just knowing that it would be revealed led me to waiting the whole time for the reveal, thus not caring about the Shark plot.

By the way, it was incredibly dumb the previous episode when the masked dude knocked the code to spell Jay. All he had to do was draw letters in the air or make the letters with his hands. The old military code is needed only when you are communicating through walls and such.

It's not the best TV, but is watchable and has several tie-ins w/ both The Flash and Arrow.

I am. It is way better than expected and it shows they spent money on it with all he CGI's effects. Having said that White Canary and the Ice gun guy and Fire gun guy are the best characters, everyone else is forgettable specially Atom (he has a great suit for such a lame character).

I didn't find much to enjoy in it. The tie ins weren't enough to get me to like the cast. I also don't watch Arrow though.

I'd say if you don't watch both Arrow AND The Flash it's not worth it.

If you do watch both and have for the long haul though it's probably worth checking out.

How are they so much worse at acting in these series than on Prison Break? I get they are supposed to ham it up, but they ham it up so much more than the other Flash villains.

I don't get why they did what they did at the end. I was sure it was gonna be like the Superman 2 movie at the end when their powers were taken from them.

yea somehow jay fake killed himself...i was under the impression zoom would be hunter and was like, why you all calling zoom jay in the middle of the ep...even the explanation "zoom jay" gave didn't make sense....and at the end...they had zoom in the room, would have been the perfect trap (AGAIN) to catch him right after he gave up wally....flash is in fact faster than him so it would have been a easy takedown

that beginning montage was of hunter so why is jay traumatized by hunters mother homocide ? so where does jay fit into this all?
so jay garrick was flash and zoom at the same time in earth2...shit is cookoo
