Yes, D. Rose was the reason for the team's success. Thus, MVP.

Iverson is overrated. He got past the second round only once--and that was in a historically weak East. The 01' Sixers were a 0.500 team against the West. :lol

That must be why so many Western teams beat the Lakers in the playoffs that year. Oh wait...

You should include

Suns o-rating: 114.5 (1st in league)
Sixers o-rating: 103.6 (13th in league)
Bulls o-rating: 108.3 (11th in league)

All three had most of their impact offensively, and Nash was able to raise his teams to all time heights on that end of the court while the other two were just volume scorers on teams that won with defense.

LOL why Rose so low Numbersix? Don't forget much of the Bulls front court was injured.

and tpols, a team that finished near top-10 in offense rating doesn't strike me as a pure defensive team, and yes that's considering their elite defense...

At the end of the day somebody has to score. Bulls have looked really pedestrian and underwhelming on offense without Rose, especially come the post season. Think they had a 60-something point game last season in the playoffs :(

I get the point your making though. Nash dishing virtually 1 out of every 2 assists over a season is very impressive. It's reminiscent of Stockton and such. But never considered Stockton an MVP personally
