Is Phil with Kobe?
Even if he is, I'm going with Pop.

Teammate of Kobe hands down. No pressure. He takes all the flak for every loss.

I hate all the Alpha Beta talk, but that's one of the most beta posts I've ever seen.
You're wishing for the easy, stress free, blame free scenario, while at the same time praising and being submissive to an Alpha.

At first though pop, but location does play into this for me and LA from what I remember as a 14 year old is way better than what I know of San Antonio.

If my goal is to be the rebounding champ I will choose Kobe, because there's plenty of bricks to go around and I won't touch the ball anyway:(

If I was a superstar and my goal was to become a role player, then hands down I would rather play with Lebron.

Well... yeah, because I'm not a professional level basketball player.
Someone who sounds like what you're describing would be Dwight Howard.

Why would I choose the guy that takes the credit after I carry him in a game 7?

Well, nobody posting here is a professional level basketball player either. The question is if you were one.
And now you're deflecting to another player, which is another very beta thing to do. All to avoid any "flak," as you said. Continuing the easy, stress free, blame free desire, beta mentality that you displayed in your earlier post.

Assuming that I'm a star play and Pop is not coaching the Spurs and will coach a team of players with no other superstar, I'll play for Pop. Playing with Kobe means there will be two of you who are superstars. No way I'm doing that. I want to be the man, the leader and carry the team to a championship.

Considering Pop is playing Kawhi less minutes to keep him from blowing up, he is basically not letting him make money and get paid. So I'll take playing on Kobe's team. If anything, he got Smush and Chris Mihm and Devean George paid.

I couldn't care less about Jeramy Lin. I just leave it because I know some people recognize me because of it. Beta = being concerned about your avatar. You're still deflecting from what you originally said.

You think players in Pop's system stand in the corner and pray they get the ball? So you don't watch the Spurs I take it?

Kawhi is a millionaire at 22 years old and Spurs will probably line his pockets enough for his lifetime. I'm sure Kawhi appreciates playing for the Spurs. Plenty of players made a name for themselves under Pop
