2012: Exit 2nd round. Lost 0-4 against the Spurs.
2013: Exit 1st round. Lost 2-4 to Grizzlies despite being up 2-0.
2014: Exit 2nd round. Lost 2-4 to OKC Thunder.
Yes or no? They play in a tough conference and were underdogs in 2 of those series anyway. The 2 series they won were both in 7 games(Grizzlies in 2012, Warriors this year)

I wouldn't think so, they were very good before this year anyway.
Blake Griffin needs to get much better if they want to do any damage, dude needs to be able to take over games and not just be a decent all star.

Yes they should be OKC with the coaching they have.

No shame in losing to the #2 seed Thunder. Expectations for next season will be high though.

It wouldn't be fair to expect them to go further this year when I chose to not let them go further.

No. They will be the 3rd seed again.

Doesn't matter what seed they get. Every year the expectations will grow.

The fact that they couldn't beat OKC who's offense runs like it was written up by a 11 year old on NBA 2k is embarrassing.
They definitely underachieved.

They're good but not that good to win a ring. I had them losing in the second round even before the season.

They would have won OKC (Or at least you got to admit will be much closer) if not for the dubious calls

blake averaged 24/9 for the series and paul 22/12.. rest of the team didnt step up.. and the team just isnt very good defensively
anyway they are still a better basketball team than the OKC but it is what it is, the nba wanted a lebron-durant final and there is nothing we can do about it

Like I said, he didn't take over games like a superstar should. He plays off of Chris Paul and wasn't able to create much on himself. They are too predictable and ineffective down the stretch in close games, Chris Paul always has the ball, or it's Jamal one on one. Can't get it done that way.

how was he not able to create much "on himself" when he averaged 24 points?
the part about close games is true but that's on the coach not the player. he should have been getting blake the ball more in the last few minutes like he did in the regular season.

They lost to a great team. Clippers should only get better moving forward. They had their chances in this series. Refs played a factor in Game 5.sometimes that's all it takes.
Make a few moves in the summer they will comeback strong. Could get top 1-2 seed next year.

The ref excuse.. All Net you're better than that.
Simply put: CFlop0 choked and will never win as the best perimeter player on his team. Choker needs an all star cast.
Didn't say refs were why they lost but they have been poor. OKC one two punch were too good.
They choked the lead in Game 5 I agree and they will need to learn from that. They aren't far away at all.
Paul made bad errors at times but he wasn't why they lost. They didn't get enough from the role players.
They just need to add to their roster.

Better coach and still couldn't win? I guess Durant and Westbrook > entire Clippers roster.

Bump a year later.
Still never made the WCF or even won a series in 6 or less with Paul/Griffin.
