Matchup problems? :confusedshrug:

Nobody with a brain thought the Nets going 4-0 vs the Heat meant something.

regular season doesn't mean shit in a playoff context.

Eh, I don't think Pop really showed his hand in the regular season (though I doubt Brooks would have picked up on it).

Look at the Blazers series: we played a different kind of game against them (compared to the regular season). At least I'm hoping we do something different.

Gonna be a great series either way!

True and not true. 4 games is a big enough sample size and it's not like the games were decided by 1 point like heat nets.

Seeing how Nets dominated the Heat in the PO, I'd say it's pretty indicative

It means nothing, Spurs will win it in 6.

Nets heat games in regular season were all 1 point games or OT.

In the playoffs, the last 3 games were similar to regular season.Nets blew them 3rd game, the other 2 just like RS went to the last minute.

I'm not going to say it means nothing because it obviously hints at an unfavorable matchup for San Antonio, but it still means very little.

The Spurs are a totally different team in the playoffs, and we see it towards the end of the regular season. This Spurs team at their best with 100% effort would be pushing 70 wins. But they need the rest, the down time. Now they have it, and the machine's back.

It's gonna be a war of a series. Spurs in 7, 6 if they're lucky.

It's not going to be 4-0 either way, that's almost for sure.

I doubt Spurs will even get one game. Watch KD avg 40/12/8 in the sweep.

It means something but i wouldn't really be too surprised if SA won the series.

Do regular season wins give you automatic wins in the playoffs? No? Then no.

The scouting of this league goes well beyond "well this is what happened last time we played them". Especially when a smart team like The Spurs are involved.

With the way The Spurs played a lot of the elite teams during the regular season this year I realized they just don't give a ****. They put in the needed effort to beat up on weak teams and get their wins and not worry about the "important" match ups against elite teams as much as their opponent probably does. They save it for the playoffs.

Unfortunately I do see the Thunder beating them.

It shows they match up well, other than that not much. I honestly would be surprised if the series went shorter than 6 games.
