People either say Reggie Miller or Ray Allen. Both are good arguments, but I will explain why Kyle Korver is the best three point shooter in NBA history.

First of all, Kyle Korver has not gained hardly any recognition for what record he has broken.

Kyle Korver has made a three in 127 consecutive games, and the previous record was 89. Ray Allen has only made a 3 in 47 consecutive games. Kyle Korver's streak ended, however, against the Trailblazers.

During the 2013-2014 season, starting basically every game, Korver attempted 6 3s a game, making 48% of his threes. This was not even his best year. During the 2007-2008 season wit the Utah Jazz, Kyle Korver shot an amazing 53% from 3 over 55 games. Wow. Kyle

Anybody who wants to break that record could. It's one of those "easy" records IMO. All you have to do is show up to games and knock down 1 3pointer per game. Fukc, even I could break that shit.

I don't know about best in history, but he's definitely my favorite shooter with Curry. It's crazy how high of a percentage he shoots for the amount that he does. Korver needs more recognition forreal.

It is easier to hit a 3 when no 1 is focused on korver.

nah, hell be all time great 3 pt shooter too eventually but of course not.
but steph curry is not GOAT 3 pt shooter yet.
hes only better at pulling up from the dribble and shoot those ridiculous threes but korver is better in everything else:confusedshrug:

lol indiana for example defended him as tight as any superstar and had somebody chasing him down wherever he ran:facepalm

Korver has a combination of volume and efficiency basically no one can match. He's easily the best 3 pt role player of all time. Literally no one comes close in that regard

Stephen Curry.

If he can stay healthy. Certainly me is more dangerous that Korver who is just catch and shoot player. Curry can create his own shots off the dribble routinely.

When using 'the record' as an argument, It's quite complex to compare Kyle to the likes of players who were focal points of their teams offense. Korver is a 3 point specialist whose primary objective has always been to knock em down once the ball finds its way into his hands. Whereas Reggie and RayRay were expected to score in a variety of other ways, all the while drawing way more attention from the opposition. If Ray Allen made a concerted effort to hug the permiter, I'm sure he could have gone for longer stretches than the noted 47.

Indiana-Atlanta playoff series opened my eyes. Korver is no where near as good as Curry at shooting 3s.

Curry saw more defensive attention this year than Korver will see in his lifetime, and still hit for a superb percentage with ridiculous volume. Curry > all

 Curry can shoot fadeaway 3's.

He's already GOAT shooter of any range at 26.

I'd take Troy Daniels over pretty much everybody except Korver. Miller and Allen are so overrated.

Steve nash is the greatest shooter ever overall, he never misses when he's open.
I'd put allen at two, miller at three and curry at four.
Korver is in the latter part of the top 10, probably at ten exactly.

Steph Curry has never even shot 40% from 3 in the playoffs. But you people say he's GOAT? :kobe:

Career playoffs
Ray Allen: 40% (5.7 attempts)
Curry: 39.3% (8.6 attempts)
Korver: 38.6% (3.9 attempts)

This won't even be a debate in a few years.

Spoken like a true person who's never had korver on their team.

Seriously though, miami heat ray allen? Boston and seattle ray allen could atleast make an argument despite how flawed it'd be, but miami ray allen? Gtfoh :biggums:

Get over it. it's the only Ray Allen Jesus pic I have.

Plus how is Korver better than Ray Allen? I mean career wise, not currently.

That time they shortened the 3pt line, doe

You can actually make a legitimate case for Kerr's percentages being inflated. I mean, there is no case to be made, it's just a fact. It's not his fault, but it's a fact.

Everyone knows Allen > Korver for careers.
