Having two black holes on offense is bad enough as it is but if they add ANOTHER?

The Spurs will double both Westbrook and Durant without a care in the world. Last year Brooks made horrible adjustements in response to the Westbrook injury, I imagine the same will happen again this year.

What OKC should do is start PJ3 and Adams and bring Collison off the bench. Also ramp up Reggie's minutes a bunch and run some 3 guard lineups with Lamb/Reggie/Russ and with KD at the 4 and Adams at the 5.

That is the only way I see OKC beating the Spurs now... Going small and quick to make up for Ibaka's loss...

Can't start PJ3, LeBron will post him up every posession.

Oops I'm getting ahead of myself, that should be DUNCAN will post up Jones every posession.

I rather start Reggie and see if Durant can guard Tiago, if this works it will force Spurs to go small and then OKC has a chance.

If OKC wins it all man, KD is top 5 of all time. This shit is ****ing crazy and OKC winning it all would be one of the greatest triumphs in modern sports history.

Yep. Ibaka was vital for their success against the Spurs. They needed that third threat that the Spurs needed to defend, without that they are free to just worry about Westbrook and Durant. Pop is smart, he nows they don't need to worry about Thabo, Adams or Collison offensively.

Don't think that's the answer.

Durant did well on Marc Gasol this year and last year in the playoffs. No reason he couldn't do well on Splitter with his length.

Brooks really can't afford to start both Collison and Perkins. That'd be horrible beyond belief. No offense, no rim protection, no rebounding. Both guys are not athletic at all which plays right into the Spurs hands. It'd be awful.

Perkins
Durant
Sefolosha
Jackson
Westbrook

6th man: collison

OKC in 6. (maybe 5)

Winning 1 championship playing alongside someone averaging 27 ppg, 8 rpg, and 8 apg in the playoffs equals top 5 all-time?

Can't start Collison. I posted this in another thread but you have to go small and try to run them out of the gym. Only chance.

Westbrook
Jackson
Sefalosha/ Lamb
Durant/ pj3
Adams/ Collison

Roll the dice.

Adams on Duncan, PJ3 on Splitter.

Then Splitter will be scoring 15ppg and the Thunder will lose that way. If you're counting on PJ3 to be a difference maker then this series is good as over.

Collison can at least come in and play some defense.

OKC has to win by getting some heroic performances out of Russ and Durant, the same way they win every series. It's not like Brooks puts together any sort of coherent gameplan anyway :facepalm

Collison was garbage even in college. Only reason why he's still in the league is because he's white and works hard.

Losing Ibaka def hurts on D, but I still think OKC has a great shot. Putting Durant at the 4 and playing small ball they should still be able to score with anyone.

Westbrook and Durant can both pretty much score at will and u can run them both with any mix of Jackson, Butler, Thabo, Fisher, PJ3, Lamb + Adams/Collison/Perkins. Honestly that's plenty of talent still (or would be if they had a real offense anyway).

Nick Collison is a very underrated player.

Westbrook
Jackson
Sefalosha/ Lamb
Durant/ pj3
Adams/ Collison

Roll the dice.

Now that is a stacked lineup, Jackson is definitely their best option to start.

why not start three guards which forces one of their bigs to guard KD or Reggie and keeps the nice Collison/Adams duo in the 2nd unit?

Oh wait, that'd actually make sense :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

It doesn't matter who they start..
OKC will go with a more traditional line up.. With collison.. See how they go...if it isn't looking good then they change up to small ball... With a line up like you said russ

Everyone needs to calm down and see what happens.. Series hasn't started yet
