Even Russell admitting that Wilt was better than him. The only ones that believe the opposite are R. Auerbach and some of the die-hard Russell/Celtics fans.
There is difference between having a great career measured by team success and being the best player in the league.
Players like Elgin Baylor, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley were the best players on their respective positions for years (Malone and Barkley were the best 2 PF for more than 10 years during their careers ) but never won any championships. To they choked constantly !? No their teams were beaten by better teams.

I know all about 66-73 I was watching basketball already. Wilt had planty enough talent to win even with injuries. And stop cherry picking injuries like Wilt's team is the only one to have them. Had Oscar not been hurt Wilt might only have one titles. Reed was hurt in 70 and we saw what happened there. In 1969 he should have won. Stop making excuses..

The Lakers with an injured and basically useless West, and a Hairston who was just a shell, lost four close games to the Knicks in the '73 Finals. Without Reed in the '72 Finals, the Lakers stomped the Knicks in their four wins.

BTW, Chamberlain annhilated the Reed-Bellamy Knicks in the '68 playoffs. And over the course of their careers, Chamberlain just slaughtered Reed.
