We all know Robin the boy wonder is the sidekick to Batman, the leader of the team. Robin is usually 2nd to Batman but still very good in his own regard. That said, there have been many Robins. Who would you say is the best?

Pippen or Kobe?

Even though Pippen was a better team player (which led to Bulls winning 6 instead of using his ego to force Batman out), I gotta give it to Kobe. He was a very skilled sidekick and scared teams when they were focused on Batman.

Agreed?

Pretty strange how Robinbe was able to put up better playoff runs as a "sidekick" as opposed to LeBald as a 1st option. :lol

It's obviously Kobe, put up better playoff stats then the players of this era being compared to him as a 2ND OPTION:roll: .

I think LeBron is probably the worst robin ever. He got upset that Batman was better than him in 2011 and choked away a championship just so batman wouldn't get FMVP. :facepalm .

LeBald 2013 playoffs 1st option

25ppg on 49%, 8 rebs, 7 asst, 1.8 stl

Godbe 2001 playoffs "sidekick"

29ppg on 47%, 7 rebs, 6 asst, 1.6 stl

its kobe. Alot of kobe stans gonna be p!ssed, but its the truth. They made of the greatest duos ever, where kobe could ride shaq on his trip to the rings.

not really an insult

russell was a robin for 5-6 of his titles

magic was a robin for 2 of his

kareem was a robin for 3 of his

oscar was a robin for his only 1

mchale was a robin for all 3

dr J was a robin for his only 1

duncan was a robin for 1 of his

robinson was a robin for both

shaq was a robin for 1

wade was a robin for 2

garnett was a robin for his only 1

zeke was a robin for 1

wilt was a robin for 1 of his ( his fmvp was a joke. shoulda been wests )

theres so many more too... what makes kobe the best robin is cause he put up batman numbers.. only guy that compares in 2nd man production was jerry west. and thats cause wilt was only averaging like 15ppg in the finals while west was averaging over 30

kobes 25/5/5 combined playoff average over those 1st 3 titles is on the level of a playoff mvp from any title run by anyone asside from a few stand outs

kobes 30/7/6 average in the 2001 playoffs would have won playoff mvp... had there been an award.

oh wait its the exact same discussion we've had every day for the last 10+ years.. nevermind.. nobody listens anyway

No man, it was a good post, you make a good point. If heat won in '11 lebron would've had a robin ring too. That batman robin stuff is silly anyway.

Durant.

You have to win a ring to be considered in this category.
