Miami Heat: Too old and nowhere as good as last year.
Indiana Pacers: Are you kidding me?

now theyre 8 guys getting 10-15 with no real leader. nobody gaining much legacy on a ring. cept for maybe tony parker if he wins another finals mvp

Not really, Duncan with his 5th ring is arguably better than Shaq on all-time list. Hes already better than Kobe though, with or without another title.

if shaq came out of retirement and replaced oden on miami and they won the title... even if shaq averaged 12-15 points.. would he move much higher all time? no

its not about total rings. its about what you do and how important you are.. duncans never been less valuable than he is right now. hes still needed. but about 1/5th as much as he was needed for his early 2000's titles

i keep getting that defensive argument.. well imagine if the best wing players around the nba only had 2-3 guys in the entire nba that were worth guarding

the center position is dead. popovich doesnt even have to play duncan on back to backs.. he can start some scrub at center and they still dominate

kobe went from a 28/6/5 1st team all nba top 3 player in the nba

all the way down to a scrub 14/4/6 player after his achilles injury... its gonna be atleast half a season of basketball before hes anywhere near good again

Those two didn't quite happen like that though.

Duncan hired a PI to see if his wife was cheating, which she was. Then he asked to get divorced and during the hearing she accused him of being gay to win custody/money. Nothing came of the claim, and now he's dating some other woman.

Kobe payed the girl off.

hmmm.. i wonder why a woman would have to cheat on her gay husband.. maybe to get some d*ck for a change

and whether or not kobe paid the woman off. hes still just an acquitted free man.. hes not even an accused rapist anymore.

Lol, there's a difference between going to trial for rape and being called gay in a divorce hearing. The latter is pretty much an obiter, something that wasn't investigated or used as preliminary evidence in the proceedings. Why didn't she divorce him when she found out he was gay? Why did she wait until the hearings to bring up these claims? Maybe it's because she knew she was about to lose and she had to make something up to try and win?

Also, I'm not really sure how the things you mention prove a guy is gay. Duncan is basically from the Caribbean. I've been to the Caribbean and Duncan doesn't act much different from anyone else. Like Bruce Bowen said, "they don't move fast for anything down there."

Kobe got taken to trial and had to pay the girl off to keep her mouth shut, much like Michael Jackson in his trial. I'd say there's more evidence of Kobe's wrongdoing than there is Ducnan's (which isn't even a wrong in the first place).

Kobe - cheats on his wife and has to buy a huge rock to keep her happy because he has no pre-nuptial and they live in California - community property state.

Duncan - wife cheats on him and then bitterly claims he's gay during divorce proceedings because he's got an iron-clad pre-nuptial agreement.

OKC is still a bad match-up even without Ibaka. I think it's worse without Ibaka because OKC will be playing ALL small-ball.

We obviously don't know for sure, but the claims his wife (ex-wife) made were ridiculous. Just a way for her to get some media attention and try to justify why she cheated.

Still, the fact that kenneth thinks homosexuality is worse than rape just shows where we're at. Hopefully others on this forum don't feel the same.
