He doesnt sound like he has the same enthusiasm from before he coached the warriors. even though he didnt have much enthusiasm to begin with, it just didnt feel the same
I noticed that too. Maybe he was just nervous/settling in for his first day back.

Dude just went from coaching in the playoffs to broadcasting within a couple weeks. Give him a break.

He seems like a good man, especially considering he's a religious nutjob.

He shouldn't be depressed. Dude is living the life. Getting millions of dollars to comment a game... Shiiittt... Thats THE life.

I didn't even hear him say one of his catchphrases.
He may still be disappointed from being fired.
And plus coaching in the playoffs & the transition from coach to broadcaster are pretty darn stressful

He hasn't called a game in 3 years, it's gonna take some time for him to get comfortable.

before this series is over:
ray allen hitting a 3: "you know the rule, hand down man down"
paul george crossover and dunk: "grown man move"
lebron james taking over: "mama, there goes that man"

He did use "Grown man move" once today.
I think that maybe he's just a little bit unfamiliar after 3 years away from the TV.

When a player comes back from a year-long injury, does he play the same? Mark Jackson has been away for years, give him some time.

Wouldn't you be depressed if you were fired unjustly just because you have separate views from the powers that be?
