Where would you rank Paul Gorge all-time?

Surely must be knocking on the door of the Top 50 if the Pacers wins.

Maybe putting him 42 between Dominique Wilkins and Clyde Drexler would be fair for now at least.

That's not even a question.

148 right behind RIP Hamilton. He not cracking my 132 spot. That's on lock down without 3 MVP votes. But if he has 4.2 assist that series he can move up to 144. As the Junk Yard dog got like sentimental ranking for landing on that Laker cheerleader and popping a devious smile afterwards. But 148 is a good spot for him.

I put him at one cause there's a 0% chance he wins if they make the finals. It's retarded to build a team solely around beating one team in the league

I wouldn't rate him yet. If Pacers win, it'll be a total team effort like Detroit against LA. George isn't ready yet to take over the playoffs. He'll have big games here and there, but a ton of what he does doesn't come with stats. His ability to defend and make things difficult on the defensive end keep Indiana in games even when other players slack off a little on that end.

He isn't in the top 100 yet even if he wins the title this year. He has to learn how to pace himself better.

I'm not so sure. He took over against Washington a couple times.

To me, all year he seems to know what he's doing better than alot of these other guys. Getting guys over that 3rd quarter hump, getting to the line at the end of games and making his free throws. He's not getting 33-40 a game, but he's getting 22-26 and playing great defense.

He's also being a great leader, held down the Hibbert situation and is being passionate on the court.

I think he's doing well.

As for all time - I dunno.

Miami was built to beat the Celtics.

Miami was built to beat the Celtics.
The difference is Miami was built to just be better in general than the Celtics, the Pacers were built specifically with Miami's weakness in mind.

Really?

They drafted and developed their own players to beat a Heat team that didn't even exist yet?

Which FA did they bring in to beat Miami? Scola?

He'd easily be the worst FMVP in the history of the game. He MIGHT crack the 100.

This won't happen but if he did he'd definitely move past LeBald. Would be entering Durants current territory in the mid 30s all time.

I still couldn't figure out where to put him, as his career is only just unfolding, but having a ring and FMVP (if he wins it) at such a young age is definitely something to be proud about.
