I would watch it. Don't have to watch superstar players to enjoy a game :confusedshrug: Love to see Timmy get his 5th too.

I won't. I have better things to do, like watch paint dry. :sleeping
But seriously, if that series happens it will set a new NBA record for the lowest rated Finals. The Spurs have a habit of setting that record. :lol

You don't appreciate real basketball.

I mean... why blame others for pointing out what you're implicitly admitting to? You prefer the aggrandized narratives and celebrity and juicy storylines and heroes and villains and all the star power and 'tmz' quality of the playoffs that surrounds specific teams and players. You aren't actually watching for the basketball.

Nobody is saying that's wrong. You can have your prerogative. I enjoy that stuff myself in moderation. I also enjoy quality basketball, so I'm personally willing to watch any finals scenario out there. But why are you basically telling everyone that you watch for something other than basketball, then telling them not to dare suggest you're watching for something other than basketball...

I will (I don't even think it would be that boring, personally.) I just can't stand looking at those yellow Indy jerseys. Why don't they just wear the blue ones?

I will watch, people whine too much and at the end of the day they have no choice but to sit down and enjoy the games.

It is the NBA Finals, I would watch no matter who the teams are.

I thought the Pistons V Spurs was one of the best Finals match ups since 2000, so yes for sure.

This. Indiana has no chance. I'll watch whatever the Finals is though.

IND/SAS would be a great matchup.

Why wouldn't anyone watch it? It's a huge part of NBA history. Two teams going for the ultimate prize. A great champion going for his 5th title. The Duncan/Parker/Manu era going for a 4th title together.

Pacers finally overcoming their demon (The Heat) to perhaps reach the mountain top.

I'd enjoy the hell out of that series. But I would enjoy any NBA Finals regardless of who's playing.

I'd watch the finals regardless of who is in it. Don't know how into i'd be if those were the teams, but i'd watch it

Yeah, because last year's Finals sucked so bad...

While the notion of an all-ABA Finals would be fun, I don't think the Pacers would give the Spurs a competitive series. Heat-Spurs would be the most enjoyable.

Least enjoyable is probably Pacers-Thunder. Indy playing aggressive defense resulting in the refs awarding OKC non-stop freethrows.

The Spurs are a fun team to watch, especially when they're up against a tough opponent like they were last year. They elevate the level of the game substantially. (They're the only watchable blowout team, too...)

VengefulAngel

I won't watch every game, if this match up does occur. The pacers will lose by 15 in each game.

Heat-OKC would be cool too. Watching Lebron pick apart the Thunder and humiliate Durant in his MVP year would be funny as hell.

Of course I won't.

This series would have lower ratings than Cavs/Spurs
