View Full Version : Big men you could trust to take the last shot for you

More often than not it's a perimeter player that takes the last shot for a team. However, there are definitely a select number of big men you would trust to take the last shot for you, or even throw the ball down to during crunch time without worrying about them being a liability at the free-throw line (see Shaq, Wilt). Guys like Kareem, Hakeem, Dirk, Duncan could definitely get you a bucket whenever you need one and are solid FT shooters for their height. Any others that come to mind?

problem is that unlike duncan, bosh can't create a shot for himself. he needs a drive and a kick from some other player.

That's true but Spo draws up a play for him sometimes for the last shot of the game.

Also true, but sometimes the most carefully made plays fall apart-- you'll need someone who can make their own shots.




Anyway. I know wilt and shaq can easily make their own shots, but would not go with them due to youknowwhat.


In order of most unstoppable arsenal:

Kareem (most instoppable shot in the game)
Dirk (dat one legged fade)
The Dream/Duncan
