I tried to tell the guys who spend their lives building up Wilt and the other 60s stars this was going to happen. They are trying so hard to inflate everything Wilt did and spread his silly myths that they are actually going to make a joke out of him, By actually trying to deny that basketball has evolved they are going to make a joke out of themselves. This is exactly what has happened.

I saw it with my own son. He saw a thing on the 100 point game and was really interested and impressed with Wilt, then when he read about him and all the myths and people saying Wilt would score 50 a game now he now just considers the whole thing a joke and thinks the whole thing is clownish which it is.
