I'm a Suns fan for life, and while I'll always hate that franchise with a passion for our history...

I can't help but deeply respect that squad all the same.

So the Spurs are considered a dynasty?

I'm in the same boat as OP. I consider the Spurs our greatest rival after the Celtics and I despise them but can't help but respect them.

Magic knows.

Spurs are the ultimate throwback to an era when unselfish TEAM basketball made the game a thing of beauty to watch.

Proud we took you guys to a Game 7.

Not sure how we did it.

Spurs look fantastic and now that the Mavs are out I am having the most fun watching them play.

The games don't bog down. There isn't any thuggery. The pace is great and fun to watch. No 1v5 hero ball. Parker and Ginobli still amaze me at least once a game. Watching Duncan is a treat. He makes the game look so simple. And watching Kawhi Leonard just get better and better is fun.

I hope someone on the Thunder besides Durant and Westbrook can hit a freaking bucket because as a neutral fan I want to see the series go 7. Durant is the best player on the floor and Westbrook is a freak. If someone else could just hit a wide open jumper this would be a fantastic series.

I remember during/after last season I said that this Spurs team was better than any 90s team not named the Bulls and got hammered for it by the Jordan stans who didn't want to give any credit to Lebron for having a huge series against them.

As much as I'd like to see a Heat-OKC final; a rematch might be even better.

They are so good that they didn't need Stern's help back in 2007 against the Suns. **** them.

That said I hope they beat OKC.

You're joking right? The Spurs could cure insomnia. Most boring team in the league by far. They couldn't draw flies to s.hit. The could put 5 midgets on the court and they still wouldn't be exciting to watch.

They are better this year because of Mills and Bellineli. There is less drop off with them than when Neal tried to play backup PG last year. Mills gets them into their sets better and Belli passes well/hits the 3s. Also, Diaw has been more aggressive, and Splitter's defense has been outstanding (he's still soft on offense). Leonard is growing game by game. Duncan and Parker's play have fallen off since last year though. And Manu - that's a night by night thing - no one knows.

And wow, what better way to end that tribute with that last posterizing dunk by Duncan at 6:07 which pretty much sums up his attitude for the game. Instead of staring down on Gasol, he looks down with humility while displaying an awesome sense of competitiveness for the game.
