he was raw with a bad jumper out of college. Spurs have the best shooting coach in the league. Anyone else drafts Kawhi and he might not be that good.

You can't count out a stable situation, good coaching, and well defined roles in terms of player development.

If he never came to the Spurs, 17/6/2.

If he went to Milwaukee in the offseason (assuming he'd be the first option): 19/7/2.

He's still not the greatest shooter, his release has improved markedly though. I think somewhere around 19/9 is what he could muster up and remain efficient. He's not a natural scorer and seems to operate mainly in transition at the moment, but he's still expanding his game so you never know what his ceiling could be.

If you analyze his skill I'd say he'd put up 18 pts 8rbs 3ast 1.5 blks 1.8stl

When I see Leonard, I see a Shawn Marion type guy. He scores 18-19 ppg just off hustle, a couple 3 pointers and post shots.

Not a true 3, not a 2 at all. and undersized at 4.

He's a 3, who can give spot 4 minutes. I actually like the comparison with Shawn Marion.

Depends on where he goes... Rockets, Pistons, Bobcats, Pacers, etc... they all vary so much in terms of surrounding talent and team ceiling... If he went to the Rockets 3 years ago I think he'd be putting up ~18 ppg for sure... But with young players comes turnovers, mistakes, etc... Kawhi was one of the best players in his draft, regardless of team

He is long with Duncan's rejuvenation the reason the Spurs are back. He would be an 18/10 player elsewhere.

are you really spending time asking me this?

I think he asked you that because it seems like a really weird and awkward way to finish out what appears to be a normal question.

It would be as if someone came up to me and asked, "Hey, do you know how to get to the nearest gas station LOL?"

I'd probably wonder if there wasn't something wrong with them.

Do you often feel like people slowly move away from you when you stand near them?
