Firstly, the series isn't over, and players have bad games all the time, Paul George isn't a superstar either, thats just the media trying to make him out to be something that he isn't.

Stephenson and West are their best players, anyone with a brain can see that.

This series is over bud. Indy had to do something today to punch the Heat in the face.

If a series is 1-1, its far from over. there is at LEAST 3 more games, anything can happen.

George is mentally weak and looks at himself as a fan of LeDefer than a true competitor. He's nowhere near alpha status. He's a fraud.

Solid player, but not a superstar.

That doesn't put into perspective how shitty he was.

I literally thought several times throughout the game "Damn Melo would be doing work right now". You know I'm one of the few who said Melo was better even when PG was playing well during the season

Still better than James Harden. Lebron would've had 40 tonight with that little bitch guarding him.

Harden is a stat inflator. He would have put in 25 but given up 40+ to Bron. Harden is the D'antoni of players.

Neither is anybody else not named Lebron James or Kevin Durant.......No rational thinking person has ever called Paul George a superstar......Not sure why you guys are holding on to that so much......Do you guys want to be right that bad? Ok, he's not a superstar.......:confusedshrug:

LeBron "Best player ever" Jame = Outplayed by Lance Stevenson two games in a row.

But LeBron hardly guards Stephenson? Why are they being paired?

What does that have to do with the above Paul George statement? PG guarded LeBron a lot but LeBron mostly stuck to George Hill.

So... it's about as relevant as the OP's statement?

It's this simple.

As I said at the start of the season, I can see the forrest through the trees, the big picture. I am not a prisoner of the moment, or quick to sip the koolaid for anyone unless it's earned. Homos like TheMarkMadsen were on my jock, but I told you he isn't a superstar. Point blank.

Superstars perform consistently under pressure, facing team defenses devoted to stopping them. They can handle double teams. PG gets shook when he faces one extra defender.

Lance Stephenson is basically their best offensive player. Hibbert / West their best defenders. PG is the middle ground there to be honest. He's a poor man's Scottie Pippen.

He reminds me of John Starks, very streaky jumpshooter, might get very hot, but on an off night it will get ugly.

George was the catalyst during the Pacers hot start to the season, and was anointed before he had truly done anything. Superstar is a term thrown around too lightly.
