Any notice the resemblance?

No.1 Pick: Andrew Wiggins = Lebron James
No.2 Pick: Joel Embiid = Darko Milicic
No.3 Pick: Jabari Parker = Carmelo Anthony
No.4 Pick: Julius Randle = Chris Bosh
No.5 Pick: Dante Exum = Dwayne Wade
No.6 Pick: Noah Vonleh = Chris Kaman
No.7 Pick: Marcus Smart = Kirk Hinrich

Embiid won't bust like Darko and this won't be the order of picks.

A potential top 5 GOAT and a potential top 15 GOAT from the '03 class.

Potential top 5 GOAT? Lebron maybe, he needs to win more rings to get there but its possible. How about potential top 15 GOAT? I dont think Melo is capable of making it this high.

I'm almost positive no perimeter player from this draft will even come close to Lebron or prime Wade. There's a good possibility that none of them are even better than Melo.

Embiid is the only guy I can see being an all-time great on the level of other big men like Duncan, KG, D-Rob, Hakeem, etc. Dude is special, and will show it barring injuries.

There is no comparison between the two.

Well actually other than Lebron, the other players in the 2003 draft class aint on the all-time great level either. That draft class has some superstars, and in 2014 draft class we can expect some players to develop into star players too. Sure no one may become as good as Lebron, but thats the one and only exception I see.

What the heck are you talking about? Wade is considered to be in the top 18-25 range by almost all basketball fans and a top 3-4 SG. How's is that not an all-time great?

I wouldn't go that far. I think it's fair to compare the two as they're undoubtedly the two most talented drafts of the last decade or so, but the 2003 draft class is/will be better. I think it's warranted to say this is the best draft class since 2003, not to say it's on the same level.

I think Anthony Davis is better than anyone out of the 2014 draft class.

My feeling is that it's not as good at the top, but it's deeper, with lots of high potential picks after the big 4.

It could be closer to drafts like 1985 (Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Chris Mullin, Joe Dumars, Detlef Schrempf, Terry Porter), 1987 (David Robinson, Scottie Pippen, Reggie Miller, Kevin Johnson, Horace Grant), 1994 (Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, Glenn Robinson, Eddie Jones, Juwan Howard)...

But my personal prediction is that the most similar historical draft will be 1998: 3 solid HOFers in Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce, and Vince Carter, 4-5 intermediary all-stars/all-star caliber like Antawn Jamison, Larry Hughes, Mike Bibby, Rashard Lewis, and a number of solid contributors for a long time like Al Harrington, Cuttino Mobley, Ricky Davis etc.

I agree with you on the first point you made. Perhaps no one will be as great as Lebron, but I wont be surprised if 3-4 of them turns out to be as good as Melo, Bosh and Wade.

18-25. Can you not read? 25-30? Name 25-30 players better than Wade.

Why would Vince Carter be a future HOFer?
