Is He talking out of his Arse for Ratings and trolling Heat.. Heat played OK not Great Lebron, played Bad for 2 1/2 qtrs Bosh played bad all game long. Chalmers and Allen stunk. He was acting like it was a concern Miami had to work so hard in the end to get close win. IDK if they can do it 3 more times blah blah blah. IMO Miami won this game playing there C+ maybe B game at best.. They can play much better overall than first 2 games. Indy on other hand I don't think can reach another level as they shot the 3 ball well dominated glass and without Huge help from Refs will be hard pressed to win more than one more game this series.

Bill Simmons thinks Wade has no post game. He obviously only watches the Heat during certain playoff games.

Meanwhile everyone on the Pacers aside from Lance Stephenson played like absolute garbage all game long, Lance Stephenson literally kept them in it by himself.

Stop crying. PG shot a pathetic 25% and Scola was 1-6. Pretty much all the Pacers played like ass. Just be happy with the win instead of b1tching about what Bill Simmons said... :facepalm

Yeah never understood this argument, Wade is very good in the post.

Bill Simmons is a journalist, not a basketball analyst... people need to start learning the difference between the two. Just like Skip Bayless, he's a hack when it comes to understanding x's and o's of basketball. He should stick to the corny "wanted it more" and "didn't show up tonight" generalizations for 8 year old viewers.

Miami didn't play that well, but Simmons does go overboard with his criticism of the Heat at times. In the last series he acted SHOCKED that the Nets were able to win game 3. It's like he expects Miami to sweep every team they face, while winning each game in blowout fashion. The NBA does not work that way, no matter how many good players you have you are going to be challenged in certain games. The Heat are an old and deeply flawed team. They get by on the greatness of Lebron and Wade, but they are not talented enough to just blow teams out of the water every night.

Someone is clearly bitter about Miami winning tonight. :lol And Stephenson and Hibert did NOT play like ass.

2 good quarter. Not really out of his mind. Considering how trash Lebron was for 3 quarters, Im surprised the Heat got this win.

This game was an aberration for both teams.

I've watched Wade play his whole career. Not even close. He had a terrific game, but out of his mind would imply he hasn't had far better games.

Why the fcuk would I be bitter? My team is out of the playoffs and I wouldn't mind to see Bron strengthen his legacy with a 3peat. I know he's an all time great, the excitement now comes from seeing if he's top 10 or top 5 or just how damn good the guy is. But all the bitch ass Heat fans crying about a WIN is fcuking annoying.

The rest of us, we take (took) our W's in stride.

Bill still thinks Okc misses Harden. Another 1 way player that don't play defense is exactly they were missing ...Guy is a clown.

They do miss Harden though. You want all the stars you can get. But honestly Russ Durant and Ibaka is clearly better than Russ Durant and Harden.

50% shooting from 2, 40% from three is a c+ game? You're completely delusional. Even with those #'s you needed Indiana to totally implode.

He practically grew up in Boston Garden. He forgot more about this game than you could hope to know.

Journalist? That's a bit generous.

Bill Simmons is a Boston sports fan who's website got really popular. He's no different than an ISH poster if they suddenly became very popular.

I thought he was right in this case. The Heat won but it did not look like they "figured it out" against Indy, just had a few things go their way in a short burst. Indy still looks like the team with the matchup advantage to me.

Yeah, Indy was till getting great looks for most of the game. Miami is having a really difficult time figuring out how to play them on defense during significant stretches of the game. They did a much better job of defending without fouling in Game 2 tho which is a big reason why they won. I still think Indy is in a weird spot where their primary ballhandlers aren't great decision makers, which makes it difficult during momentum swings.

But offensively they've been just fine. Shot 50% from the field in both games in Indy. Ray Allen and Chalmers are good for a solid game sooner or later and Cole/Birdman gave them really good minutes.

Bill simmons is f.ucking annoying, he has a cocky way of talking and think he is superior to the others commentators.

On top of that, he is the biggest Wade hater i have ever seen.

Bill Simmons is a Bron stan, endlessly propping up the mantra that if the Heat lose it's the team's fault, but if they win it is all because of Bron. His last column was even entitled something like 'it's all on Bron'

Meanwhile, Bron is getting outscored by a guy on his own team who's averaging 25/3/5 on 65% shooting. Last night Wade and Bron scored or assited on all Heat points scored in the 4th, Wade was 5-5 in the 4th. But it's all on Bronze guys!!! Wade not a top-20 player; this is the Lebron Cavaliers again!

Simmons is an imbecile with a good sense of humour - his basketball knowledge (not historical, current) is often not much better than most of the idiots on here.

That's a good way to put it. Sort of the reason I like him. He provides a lot a fun to these countdown shows. The crazy trade theories, historical anecdotes, hero worship, and garish jokes make him fun to watch. I don't really need analysis from anyone other than Doug Collins.

I dont think Heat have hit stride this series like i said Lebron will have one huge game this series bosh should certainly play better and Chalmers is always good for one good game a series. Lebron attacking rim driving and kicking will set up good looks for his teamates. The Miami D also shows is can lock them down for stretches. I predicted heat in 6 before series still feel that way so giving pacers some credit here.

Shoot, in the past 3 years I could reel off 5 games against Indiana alone that Wade was better in.

Especially gm 6 2012 against Indy where he hit his most underrated shot ever:

Bill was slurping the Indiana crowd the whole time and on twitter as well. Then this happens:

The game was not over, as Indy hit a couple of 3s. But of course, not a single peep from Bill or anyone else in the media. Nobody criticising the Pacers fans for booing their own team and leaving early.
