View Full Version : Will "Heat fans" still make fun of the Cavs if Lebron returns?

Will they maintain their 'loyalty' to Miami and insist he was better off there? How many Miami Heat fans will this board still maintain if he jumps ship back to Cleveland?

I think if Lebron leaves... man, I don't know, hard to think about.
It would hurt, for sure. I'd probably be so distraught, I'd start stanning a dead player hard, try to convince people he could do things he clearly couldn't do, spend way too much time doing it too. On top of that, I'd make posts about Lebron, taking jabs at him whenever I can, then play it off, put emoticons in my post and act like I don't care he left my team when he really did.
Nah, wait, I'd just get over it.

First of all, Cavs are called a shitty franchise because they have made horrible personnel decisions, including: lucking into a generational talent and failing to surround him with a better offensive player than Mo Williams for 7 years causing said talent to leave the franchise on national television, drafting Anthony Bennett, Hiring Mike Brown twice, etc...
If Cleveland were to some how be able to lure LeBron back they would no longer be considered a shitty franchise since they were just able to get the best player in the world to sign with their team (aka an amazing personnel move). I don't see how people would be considered hypocrites for changing their opinion on the Cavs if they got LeBron, opinions should change as facts do.

I don't care. I care about Wade.
If LBJ stays, or if he goes, makes no difference to me. Simply because I don't like how he has behaved since he has been here.
In 2010, this elite merging was supposed to be about "team". About "the name on the front, not the name on the back"....... but instead, LBJ has been a diva since day one, and finally got his way when the team finally gave up trying to be a "team" like Bosh and Wade wanted..... so the bigger man (Wade) stepped aside and let LBJ have his little spotlight and let it be "his team".......... just for the sake of winning.... less another 2011 Finals LeBron act show up again in 2012. Wade just wanted to win.
LeBron is simply unlikeable. Even after 3 straight trips to Finals, and 2 straight rings..... he still is doing that "I won't comment on free agency" thing like he did in CLE. Apparently, having a top elite Front office in the league and team around you, means you still won't commit to the team and leave them hanging until free agency actually begins, just like in CLE.
and honestly, I miss Wade. He's a better playmaker. Wade is a much more exciting player. LeBron's skill is this ugly "put head down and steamroll for an ugly drive layup"........ and when he dunks, he does the same exact dunk every single time. I miss watching Wade do 360's, reverses, etc....... LeBron's game is simply boring.
So.... all I will worry about when/if LBJ leaves is Wade. If I had my way in 2010, Wade would have gotten a different big 3, and Wade would be running the show since.

Teams > Players
NBA is unique in that it allows a single player to dominate the game and single handedly change a team from awful to title contender. The only other athlete that can come within miles of that is a QB, but even they cannot dominate the game anywhere as much as a legit NBA superstar can, let alone a legendary superstar. This results in player fans.

what does "carry" mean.....
do you mean the Heat basically bending over backwards since LBJ is unable to play in a "team" , and forced the Heat to basically suit his needs ONLY and let him have the spotlight? Look at Bosh's statlines recently. We all know he's better than this.... THAT's sacrifice. Even Wade. Yeah his knees are killing him lately.... but wade took a backseat for the team when his knees were still holding up back in 2011-2012.
LBJ carried the Heat game 6 vs boston. sure, THAT performance was legendary. And the Headband game vs Spurs.... but i wouldn't call him carrying.

Oh please. No mention of the idiotic analysis in his post? Just agreeing because it's Bron bashing?
When Bosh plays bad, it's him sacrificing. When Bron plays bad, it's him choking.
The Cavaliers organization isn't one which fosters success; at least not this past decade. It's been evident time and time again.
When there's no mention of theatrics or shenanigans from LeBron or his camp regarding his FA, are you going to admit you're still an emotional Cavaliers fan who resents an individual playing the game of basketball as if he personally assaulted you? The obvious answer is no, and you will likely instead resort to stating that his doucheness for sure displayed itself, but behind the scenes.

I was commenting only on James refusing to commit for reasons which I believe center around the chaos he'll create as teams vie for his services.
You know I don't agree with the actual basketball analysis. Not sure how many times I have to say he's the best player on the planet before people stop accusing me of being blinded to his incredible basketball skills. Plenty of other people were chiming in on that portion of the post, though I will agree that these guys never really fit together well and they'd all be better -- from a fit standpoint -- in different situations.
Outside of that, though, you know I have a high opinion of James' basketball prowess. I don't think I need to rehash it when making a point about something completely not related to basketball.
I'm not even sure I read his whole post... just the part about his impending free agency.

Dumbest post I've ever read on ISH

Fair enough. It just not a good look when you agree with a troll post, even if you only agree with a minor point made.

  Damn don't do OP like that!

I am a Lebron fan...and am consistent unlike Cleveland fans that love Lebron, then hate him, and if he returns they will love him again.
Well some stans like it with foreplay and some don't. My guess you are the latter. A bunch of homo's in this thread.
OUT.

Cleveland and the CAVS will AlWAYS be made fun of period.
The Way Cle treated LeBron when he left and now are on their hands and knees, begging him and praising him to return is beyond comical and pathetic.
And Cleveland no matter what will always STILL Be CLEVELAND.
And to the OP,How the hell, aside from the Cavs only notable players being a guy who went to another team and achieved success and left CLE and Craig Ehlo,
Do you STAN and RIDE a player who NEVER PLAYED For your Team and last played 50 YEARS AGO?
Wilt Chamberlain played for Philly,LA,GS,Globetrotters.
He never played for CLEVELAND.And even with that said,Heat may have MJS jersey retired as a sign of respect but Heat fans and the HEAT are not constantly Praising and Riding a Player who has Never Played for or been a part of their organization.
I mean I realize No Body wants to play for Cle and aside from LJ,no body of worth has.
And what Cleveland fans keep forgetting is that, even with LeBron James,
NO BODY WANTS to play in or for Cleveland.
Miami can always sign another star and add more good pieces.
They have done so before and actually have a great fo.
Cleveland is beyond pathetic and worthless.
The same man Cle literally wished failure, injury, death on and came up with every insult to trash him,his mother, his life and are constantly trashing and hating him are now literally begging him to Return to SAVE THEM.
Why would Miami Fans be mad?
3 Straight Finals,2 back to back Championships,2nd Longest Win Streak in History,AND COUNTING compared to Cle not even Breaking 40 wins since LeBron left
Mad?No
Stop purposefully using the LeBron Stans/player Stans are Heat/Team fans because they are NOT the same.
Hell even then,Heat fans don't have to ride a player who has never played for their team to be relevant or have a great player---
Miami has Actually WON Multiple Times while Cle can not even say they came close aside from being SWEPT in Finals with LeBron and nobody.
