They won 62 games and had the best record in the league during the season without having a single player average 30 minutes a game or 17 points a game.

Spurs leader in minutes and PPG: Tony Parker - 29.4 MPG & 16.7 PPG:oldlol:

That is actually mind blowing when you think about it.

Im so nba'd out

Hopefully in the end the lack of true stars bites them and they regress into inconsistent role players that cant get it done.

Delusional wishful thinking.

One of the deepest teams in NBA history. They really are fcuking amazing. When Aron Baynes is playing 10 mins in a playoff game, damn.

Think I read somewhere that it's the first time since the merger that a team didn't have a single 30 mpg player. Much Less finish with the best record in the league.

Pop is the GOAT based on pure coaching ability. Admit it already.

They play a complete team game, kindof like the Pistons 04, dont even know who the best is, they just are viciously deep, its teams like these i consider "stacked", the ones that have talent from the starter to the last man way down burried in the bench.

...if you for example have 8-15 guys who average 10 ppg its certainly better than a team consisting of a 30 ppg guy or two 20 ppg guys and the rest 0-10 ppg. Teams like that bring you a guaranteed heavy dose of offense, when 1-3 guys cant find the shot the next 1-3 can.....

It isn't really. Isn't it reasonable that someone who doesn't need to average 40 minutes per game will be able to perform better when he's on the court?
Can you continue showing the same intensity play after play when you've been doing so for a while?

That this is a first just goes on to show how badly other teams are built paying no attention to depth.

Does this lame f@ggot always have Lebron in his head or what? OK so the Heat are not stacked but the Spurs are an incredibly stacked team, LMAO who the fvck believes that other than you, your alts and a few more crazed tards like you.

LMAO this guy, you could be talking about D-League ticket prices and he would still find a way to prop Lebron up.

Don't need all that BS to support the best player in the world and top 5 GOAT buddy.

This came up a lot in the season ending discussions about awards. All NBA teams, all defense, and stuff like that.

It seemed hard to finish the list and have really no one from the team with the league's best record anywhere on the three All-NBA teams. Even coach of the year at the time people were still very excited about the new guys doing good jobs in Charlotte and Toronto, Stotts in Portland. There was a lot to like. But I think in the end seeing those lists put Pop over the top for a coaching award that is generally much more fickle than the rest of the awards the league hands out.

On PTI just last night, Wilbon was blowing a gasket about Miami having the two best players in the series (he was saying Wade is a better player than Paul George, which is a different debate), and in basketball, if you have the two best players, you win 95% of the time.

But I think a similar case can be made for OKC (although a Parker Westbrook argument right at this moment is certainly doable). And no one thinks that about them.

They have 3 players in place , built around them , got a defensive specialist SF , placed into starter position , and conditioned role players to play a style that is manatory...

Hard to beat success.
It's their final push , cause who will replace the leadership of Duncan and Ginobli ??? Parker was even considering retirement a year ago..

I still think the Heat have another gear... so we will see.

Considering that post had nothing to do with Heat or Lebron and you just brought that randomly up you should rethink about who always has Lebron in his head "-Lebron23-"...
