2004 was Minnesota's best year ever. Led by multiple all star K.G and had major help from Sprewell and cassell to lead their franchise to tha western finals. Minnesota were close of winning a title if it weren't for tha Shaq and Kobe Lakers. This was indeed K.G's best year as he also won tha 2004 season mvp. This team definitely made noise and showed tha world Timberwolves that year sure wasn't anything to laugh at:applause:

What do you appreciate about this team?

Great team. The KG/Cassell/Sprewell trio was one of the most potent offensively. No doubt the best version of KG.

It's crazy that Minnesota has never made playoffs since.

Great thread btw. What do I appreciate about the '04 Timberwolves? Grit and Grind. That year, the Timberwolves played, on both ends of the floor, with so much grit and grind. The gritty leadership of the "Da Kid" KG, Sam "I am" Cassell, and Latrell "I got Kids" Sprewell, followed by the sharp shooting of Fred "Da Mayor" Hoiberg, the defense of Trenton Hassell, and Ervin "Not that Earvin" Johnson. That was a gritty year.
