5 out of 7 = 71.4 finals win%

4 out of 6 = 66.6 finals win%

lebron 3 out of 5 = 60.0 win% ( still trailing )

One problem about final percentage is...
what if they were there all because of him ?
example : 07 lebron , 62 Wilt
They were in the finals because of one guy's dominance, cant punish them if they lost

Spurs are winning it.

I doubt Duncan has to do too much though. So I'm betting TP or someone unexpected like Green wins FMVP.

If Duncan makes the finals this year

He still wouldn't have made as many finals as Kobe.

Green will not win the FMVP since Green will not be wide open as he was in the first 5 games of the finals last year

Duncan would have a very good chance of winning the FMVP if the Spurs win against the heat, since the heat are very small

Duncan would have probably won the FMVP last year if the spurs would have won

In '08 Kobe under performed, but he lost to the better team.

However, Kobe lost the '04 Finals almost by himself. Duncan has never done that in a series, let alone the Finals. People still hold 2011 against LeBron everyday. 2004 was one of the biggest choke jobs ever. Do you think Duncan would have threw the Finals to stop the teammate he hated from winning another Finals MVP?

Oh come on, Duncan is better than Kobe with or without making it to another finals. The moment Kobe got swept by the Mavericks in 2011 he failed his last chance to challenge Duncan for all-time great ranking. The Lakers keep getting worse each year, he aint getting another shot.
:facepalm

well duncan was never the second best player on any of his championship teams, so what's your point?

give duncan an elite wing (top 12 calibur) and you're looking at a minimum of 6 rings considering he has 4 by himself, going through WEST (dirk, kg, phoenix) and kobe and shaq TWICE

The only Western team that beat a prime Kobe and Shaq was Duncan, and he did it with a 41% shooting sophomore Tony Parker.

Now can you imagine if they switched places? Kobe without another HoF worthy big?
