View Full Version : I think Spurs will get exposed against the Heat (if they play).

Green and Neal stepped up big time last year. Green is catching fire right now but he'll burn out in the finals. Neal's gone and mills hasn't impressed in the post season.

Manu will probably choke (even tho he's my fav spur he will choke no doubt). Duncan is older and not as good as last year. Tony will go off but that never stopped the heat last year.

Kawhi will be the X factor. He ain't ready doe. Wade is finally playing like 2012 wade. And we got Lebron, the best player in the world.

Heat in 6.

u realise if Ray Allen misses that 3 the Spurs won in 6 right?

I can't see the Spurs losing to them again

AND

they have homecourt this time

Belinelli
Improved Splitter
Somewhat improved Leonard

But I still got the Heat in 6. Daring LeBron to shoot won't work as well as last year. Duncan is def not the player he was last year. TP will prob be healthy, but Wade's better form will offset that. Close series though.

it all depends if Bosh wobnt bend over to Duncans rape attempts, if LeGod can shut down Tony GOAten again and if Chalmers can defend Green off the ball.
if those things happen i like the Heats chances. if not it could be over soon.
that being said Heat have to go past Indiana first.

There would have been 5 seconds left on the clock if he missed.

And if that game was reffed fairly, the heat would have won by double digits.

i really think this word "exposed" gets used in all the wrong context here
if the spurs were to get "exposed" the heat would have to win in 4/5 games..thats not gonna happen.... if the spurs lose in a tight and long series then they havent been exposed...
they will be an elite team that lost to another elite team... and will be regarded as the 2nd best team behind miami... which is what most people have labeled them the last 2 years anyways

that being said
i still think the spurs win

Why do people bring this kind of shit up still? If Tony Parker didn't hit his game 1 miracle shot, the series could have been over in 6 :rant

at this guy
dont forget manu drived in on the last play in overtime... got hacked like hell from both sides...no call
i wouldnt complain about the refs... that no call may have been the most important call of the series

come on dude.
the spurs got the ref love in every game.
they led in FTA by 45 even tho they didnt attack the paint like the Heat.
LeBron got hacked like MAD which caused some of his struggles.
Heat shot the fewest FTA in a finals series EVEr ffs:biggums:

Belinelli>Neal... Neal was the only thing that stopped the Spurs from moving the ball at all (your typical volume scorer), and he only went off in game three (one game does NOT make a good series). Belinelli fits the Spurs system way better. Like has been mentioned, that Allen three SAVED YOU from losing in six, and this time you don't have HCA. Bosh is the X factor for you, and if he gets outplayed by Duncan I just don't like your chances of winning (LeBron and Wade WILL outplay Green and Leonard and Parker WILL outplay Chalmers, plus the Spurs will have more balanced scoring from everyone). It's also hard to see Manu playing that poorly again.

thats the biggest load of crap
spurs took the heat away from their game....your just to used to the heat recieving all the calls... if that doesnt happen u bitch about it constantly.. even if you win

What? Spurs were up 2 before parker hit the shot and Miami didnt even score the next play IIRC

They would have been down 2 instead of 4, and wouldn't need a 3... they could get a 2 to take it to overtime.

The point is the hypotheticals are stupid. Ray Allen made the shot, and the Heat won in game 7. They were the better team. Just because something could have been different, it wasn't... game 7 was the chance for the Spurs to prove they were the better team, but they didn't.

Heat winning by double digits in regulation means overtime would not have happened :facepalm

I've been saying this for a while now. Spurs are getting a little too overrated. They gonna get Bronco'd.

You realize that if Parker doesn't make that Circus game winner in game 1, Miami goes into game 6 up 3-2?

3-2 isn't winning

If Allen misses Spurs WIN.

Not 100% what if they get another rebound and kick out? there were 5 seconds left.

i find it funny that a Ray Allen corner 3 going in is considered "lucky" but a Parker step back 3 over a 6'8 LeBron James from like 30 feet isn't...

IT came off an offensive rebound, did u watch the final 5 minutes of the game?

The simple fact is Spurs blew the 2013 Finals, and I'm responding to the OP who seems to think the Heat have too much firepower for the Spurs to handle, but in the 2013 finals the Spurs had them in 6 games for the taking, this series is not going to be a cakewalk for either team

AND Spurs have homecourt this year, Miami fans should be nervous.

I doubt it. The Spurs are better than last year and the Heat are a smidge worse.

Plus, the Spurs seem like a team on a mission getting better every round.

The Spur were on a 20 game win streak including the playoffs in 2012 before they lost 4 straight

They went 12-2 in the playoffs last year before going 4-3 in the Finals.

They always have unreal success and are on a mission until they lose. :confusedshrug:
