View Full Version : What would you do if you found out..

Your wife had plastic surgery before you met. There was this Chinese man about a year ago who divorced his wife after their baby came out "ugly" and her past was exposed. He even went as far as to file a lawsuit against her, which he won. So, if you guys were in a similar situation and your kid came out looking decidedly worse then you had imagined and it becomes clear your wife doesnt really look like what she looks like (if that makes sense).

What would you do and how would you react?
I heard about this. In an instance it is the right thing to do and he should win as anyone else has the right too considering it seems like some type of fraud. However, isn't it overkill? You're with the person because of friendship and bond. Love and mutual understanding that you appreciate them enough to take care of them through sickness and danger.
This is equivalent to leaving your wife if she got into a serious injury.

My kids aren't the ones I would be banging, so I wouldn't care.

It's a ten year old story posted in some Chinese paper that is known for made up and unsubstantiated stories. It was later confirmed to be fake including the alleged pre-surgery photo of the wife.

It cant be fake, so many media outlets exploded with it last year. It was really big. I think your talking about another instance of this happening.

That doesn't mean shit when they're all quoting the same source which wasn't known to be reliable anyway.

Nope it is fake. This has been around a long time. The fact a bunch of people ran with it last year and it was around in 2004 should be your first clue.

possibly the same.
Honesty is quite important for any relationship I'd think.
The reality is that there comes a time where the past can be forgiven.
it's not that love hurts
it's that if you can't risk being hurt, you are never going to have a chance at love.
and I don't need to be the elephant in the room to tell you that even after you fall in love, you still have the chance of getting hurt.

Story is legit, my cousin studied in Japan for a semester and actually knows this dude. He said the wife looks fine AF but if you look at her real close you can see the tiny surgery scars, but if you didnt know about it when you look at her you might never notice.

Yeah, well he's supposed to be Chinese not Japanese.
The picture was also not part of the original story.
And the story alleges that they successfully divorced and he won the lawsuit after their first daughter while the picture shows the oldest clearly being the son and them having two more daughters after their alleged divorce.

This sounds like the type of gossip you hear on the playground from you unreliable friend who goes home alone and whose parents you've never seen.

Plastic surgery boom as Asians seek 'western' look (http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/05/19/korea.beauty/)
I read this article a couple years ago...that eye surgery is extremely popular in China and Korea
"The Chinese and Korean patients tell me they want to have faces like Americans"

The pic is something random on the article, probably not even the same people. But I am pretty sure the story is real. The womans before/after pics got leaked after the story broke.

Those are fake. There is not a single shred of evidence that any of it is real other than a paper that continuously posts fake stories. Wake up man.

Hmm. Could be. Nevertheless, if it really did happen to you, how would you react?

Old, but yeah those kids are going to be psychologically scarred and blame the mother and seek their fathers approval their whole life. Bad enough they need to get straight A's.
