Ben Wallace defended prime Shaq straight-up one-on-one and held Shaq down. Can Ibaka do that? Nope. Prime Shaq would run right over Ibaka/Perkins defending him 2on1. Wallace trumps Ibaka on defense.

As an all around player I agree, but defensively it'll still be Wallace.

Ibaka has surprised me way more on offense, he's got that legit jumper.

First Lance Stephenson now Ibaka. Ibaka can't guard legit PF one on one. He's a help side defender with a decent mid-range shot. He lives off the open looks Westbrook and Durant get him.

Definitely Ben Wallace.

He just grabbed every rebound and could defend a player like no other. Ibaka can play on the offensive end and defensive end but I don't think he can lock down a player like Wallace could.

Wallace is worth more as a player, his defense was incredible back in his prime. If you swapped so far prime Ibaka and what he's done for prime Wallace, the Thunder are a better team, even without Ibaka's mid-range game.
