collude with the #1 and #9 scoring leaders and didn't succumb to today's era of flopping by doing so himself....he would actually be appreciated for his greatness. Doesn't help the way he handled the whole "decision" either.:facepalm
I mean damn if he would have joined a team that offered the most money after the Cavs that had a good GM and coach and they gave him a Pippen equivalent player (not the #2 scoring leader and a shitty coach in spo) and a roster similar to Jordan's bulls no one would be hating or talking shit.
Never seen a guy so hell bent on destroying his legacy by making such stupid decisions to cause the majority of an NBA fan base to disrespect him.:facepalm
I swear, everywhere I go no matter what city it is everyone is like "fvck that flopper that had to collude", and justifiably so. I mean how sad is it when you are trying to watch the NBA in an era where the best player is so damn disrespected. It's a joke.
Even though wade and bosh aren't playing anywhere close to how they did on their own respective teams before the collusion, no one looks at it that way. They just see some ring chaser and "what could have been", and for the most part, they are justified in their assessment.
Don't understand why Heat and Bron homers can't understand this majority opinion. It's not that hard to comprehend.
I really hope players like Jabari and Wiggins can turn this league around in the future once the Bron's and CP3's of the world are no longer playing.

You realize that your opinion of Bron's greatness is in the minority, and not in the majority when taking all NBA fans into account right? 5-10 years from now when you have a chance to witness much better future greatness you will look back on this moment and realize just how silly you sound.
I'm sure you will be backpedaling faster than Lance Armstrong on a stationary bike just like every other misguided youth.

wouldn't not flopping mean that he is not doing all he can do to win though?
Wouldn't jordan bitching to the refs in every series against pistons mean that he was just not trying hard enough to get calls for his team?
All the shit jordan did in chicago would not have been possible in shit-tier city and he would have hated to play there and lose every year.
I have no doubt that lebron wanted at least bosh to come to cleveland but i am sure bosh said that he would rather go to miami. When the city and team's owner/FO is so shit that no good free agent wants to go there then it would frustrate any all time great player as he would never be able to win a ring.
The same people who bitch about him leaving are the same who talk about kobe's 5 ring and MJ's 6 rings instead of their stats and their game to make a case for them as all time greats.
You can't have it both ways. Either judge a player solely on his game or don't be mad when you judge players by rings and he leaves to play for the better organization.

Most casual fans don't know what happened in Cleveland.
It was basically this:
Lebron goes to terrible Cavs team that tanked to get him. He plays there for four years, and eventually turns them into a playoff caliber team.
Lebron: Its about time I get help.
Okay Lebron, we got you. Here, you can have Wally Scerbiak and Delonte West.
He needed a little bit more than that though as u may imagine.
So a year later they bring in Scottie Pippen (aka Mo Williams). But all the while, Illgauskas was turning into shreds of his former self, and really they needed a good big man.
Then they go out and get Antawn Jamison on his last legs and think that they have a dynasty.

A majoirty of NBA fans would be ecstatic if this had happened and would not give a damn what team it was and he would not be disrespected. He would have been treated as Jordan was treated with a slight caveat that his competition these days (a 25 year old durant and 40 year old Duncan) isn't on par with the 90's teams, but then again that is no fault of Bron's as he obviously can't control the strength of the opposing teams in his era.

Well yes, i think he shoulda went to another team in June 2010 and he made a terrible move PR wise.
He shoulda went to Chicago. That team coulda been even better than Miami, because Noah would compliment Lebron better than Bosh (whose main talent - scoring - doesn't even get used in Miami).
And then you add Taj Gibson and Deng in there and wow that woulda been a dynasty, and Lebron would get all the credit because Rose and Noah are not star names like Wade and Bosh were (especially back then...back then even Rose wasn't a big name yet).

Lebron is between 8 and 10 now, but will likely finish between 3 and 8 by careers end.
Guys like Jordan, russell, kareem, wilt, bird, Shaq are still definately in front right now IMO.

We get it. They colluded. We don't need to hear about it every time they get a big win.
Mostly because there are teams out there just as talented and/or just as good. Say what you will, Miami is FAR from some unstoppable force. There are teams that can beat them 4 times out of 7. They just have to grow the balls to stand up to them and do it. Dallas did it. San Antonio was damn close last year, and they look like they're going to finish what they started this season. Are they Bill Russell'ing the league right now? Destroying everyone 2001 Lakers style? They may be on top but the gap is razor thin. Way, way too thin for this constant stream of whining.
Is it so hard for people to realize this and enjoy the basketball?
10 years ago, I hated Kevin Garnett almost as much as I hate James Harden now. Now that he's a shell of himself, lumbering around like a loser...it sucks ass. Trust me, you can hate Lebron all you want. But it will suck when he's gone. Don't waste this time by constantly bitching about him. He's one of the greatest players we've ever seen. Just get over the decision and enjoy the game.

Call me crazy, but I am so against the Celeveland thing and the "decision". Up til then I liked Lebron, I really did.

Post wasn't directed at those who get it. It's for those who don't. This has NOTHING to do with Miami's win over the Pacers.
Mostly because there are teams out there just as talented and/or just as good. Say what you will, Miami is FAR from some unstoppable force. There are teams that can beat them 4 times out of 7. I can understand the hate for James Harden, but I don't get the hate for KG back then. There's no bitching going on here, I'm just explaining to the stans that don't understand why the dislike exists. He didn't have to go to Chicago, that's only one possibility. Anything would have been better than teaming up with #2 and #9 and to think that this league is anywhere close to what IT COULD HAVE BEEN, we are only kidding ourselves. Let's be honest. The 3rd best player is CP3 and he has no where NEAR the heart of AI. As fans, we have been robbed and are now forced to watch a bunch of floppers and the Heat's biggest challenge is an aging Spurs team that isn't even remotely exciting to watch, but it's the best we have at the moment.

Except that's now how it works. 10, 15, 20+ years from now LeBron will be remembered by his success, which he's been enjoying a lot of lately.
No one criticizes Moses Malone (an MVP) for leaving his team to join a roster which already included the arguable GOAT SF in Dr. J, 6th man of the year and all-defensive first team Bobby Jones, all-defensive first team Mo Cheeks, and Andrew Toney.
History will repeat itself with LeBron, just like it has for every other player. Some comments from people on ISH, won't change a thing.

Lebron iz a bitch and so iz his stans. Jordan would of never did no bitchmade shit like lebronina did. Disgrace:coleman:
Jan 2014.
I was watching the NBA before you were just a twinkle in your parents eyes....
Yeah, you're so old that you're losing your mind. Kobe's my favourite player and I don't even like James, but I'm not delusional like you and I recognize greatness when I see it. Lebron is better than my favourite player.
Yeah, the flopping is bitchmade, and yeah he joined a stacked team. These things don't make him a less talented player. You wanted him to join CHI or a team like that? They would have been even more stacked than the Heat. It's not like everyone on the Heat has been fully healthy for the past few years, and it's not like the Heat don't have their flaws. Lebron's accomplishments are legitimate. Did you miss that fantastic game 7 he just had in the Finals? A bit of flopping is a bigger deal to you than 4 MVPs and a soon to be 3 Peat? What about Shaq and his three straight FMVPs? Is Shaq not great to you either?
So basically.... If only Bron didn't....
*take a charge
*draw a foul
*sell a call
*manage to finally get a better teammate than mo williams
*leave
*have a headband
*miss a clutch shot
*pass to open teammate

In your own OP you show you're butt hurt and how anyone that thinks like it is butthurt.
1 - Lebron's 'Decision' while a bad PR move is not a logical reason to doubt his basketball talent or hate him. Dumb mofos also forget the $6 million went to charity because of the 'Decision'. He already did his time at Cleveland and no one can claim otherwise.
2 - Lebron colluding to be with other players should only matter insofar as it could distort the NBA landscape to make his team incredibly heavy favourites. The Heat are anything but. There are multiple teams in the league with comparable talent. Ironically, he's still carrying that team load even with the stars beside him.
Furthermore, there are also other takes to have on it: that it makes him a winner because he wants to win as much as possible; or that he's such a winner that he's willing to forgo a bigger pay day to win.
3 - If everybody flops, why the **** should it matter that Lebron does? In the end, he has to protect himself. If he just drives through all the contact and never exaggerates anything he either doesn't get the foul half of those times and/or it encourages others to keep trying to get physical with him possibly injuring him.
As aforesaid, that anyone chooses to have a problem with him over these things just shows they're butt hurt. At least be man enough to admit it.

When players decide their own free agency = "OMG they r colluding!"
When owners and GM's decide player fates through trades = "Normal"
If the narrative means more to you, than what is actually happening ON THE COURT, then your opinion is pretty much worthless on the matter.

It's time for that tired ass narrative to get an update already. I was disappointed that he went to miami when it 1st went down, but the reality of it is they didn't turn out to be that unstoppable juggernaut everyone predicted and cried about. They struggled and fought their way to whatever success came. It's pretty petty to hold against him any titles or success he actually had to earn. His road to rings ended up being tougher than most greats'(not in on paper perception of his opponents, but real life on floor adversity).
And if you guys were truly watching basketball during that time you'd know that the Cavs pursued bosh throughout the 2010 season, he wanted no part of cleveland and before that they courted amare as well. Nobody wanted to play there.

90s bulls were way more stacked than the Heat could ever dream of. Rodman/Grant>>>>Bosh
Pippen>Wade( after 2011)
you dont get the fact that Pippen was an alltime talent and MAYBE was 10% worse than Jordan.
Pippens impact nearly rivaled Jordans and he was the greatest perimeter Defender ever by far.
so you have the best perimeter scorer( maybe tied with LeBron but for now Jordan is ahead) AND the best perimeter defender as well as the GOAT rebounder in Rodman.
and you have the nerve to talk about stacked:roll:   :biggums:

if you think Wade is better than Pippen, especially right now, i think you should rethink about that.
Pipopen could EASILY have scored 25 PPG and he was arguably the 2nd best two way player ever behind Wilt because of his relentless effort on Defense.
Pippens Defense alone puts him near Wades impact and he was a GREAt scorer too.
peak Wade is maybe as good or a little better than Pippen but i think its close. and i think peak Wade is on of the greatest players ever.
thats how good Scottie was. i would take Pippen over Kobe to start a franchise ANY day
