The cold harsh reality is that some oddball ppl who post a shit load on message boards will have this dude on their mind for a few days because they feel they can identify with some aspect of his personal frustrations.

I'm thinking OP as well as hundreds of lonely fckn ppl will have strong internal feelings- good or bad- about this tragedy because to them, it is the ultimate deranged way to express how you feel about humanity or the people that don't have issues being social or confident. The scary thing is that deep down, there are a lot of people round the internets that are closer to the shooter than normal, well-adjusted people.

Mental Health is a tricky and crazy nuanced concept to internalize collectively.
