Look at the facts- Derek and Bean are drafted at the same time, every year from '96 until Fish left in '04, the Lakers advanced at least past the first round and won 3 rings. He goes to GSW and Utah from '04-'07 (including making it to the WCF), meanwhile Bean missed the playoffs and was bounced in the first round during that span.

Then Fish goes back to LA and they make it to the finals that first year, repeat as champs the next 2. In '12 he goes to OKC, they beat the Lakers in 5 and go on to the Finals. Lakers barely make it to the playoffs the next year, get swept, don't make it to the dance in '14.

So in his 17 year NBA career, Bean's record without Fish consists of missed playoffs in his prime (34-48 record), 2 first round exits, and just overall terrible basketball.

Uh... wassup wit dat? :confusedshrug:

Correlation doesn't equal causation.

You would think so.

But judging by ISH standards, you're dead wrong.

Bean without Fish is like... Fish without chips.

Think about it.

What of it? Just confirming the closet Bran stan, because even when Bran stans get you upset by pulling the "what did Jordan do without Pippen" bs you still don't have it in you to troll Lebron

Let's be realitistic.

Kobe and Melo are destructive to their own teams if they don't have a strong minded PG who will take the ball out of their hands and get others involved. Their IQ's are so low they basically need full time babysitters or else they will sink the team in a hurry.

Basketball is won by the players who play smart and disciplined on offense and hard on defense, meanwhile the guy who chucks up contested fadeaways to the detriment of the team gets credit from all the stupid fans when the team wins. This is the reality of post-jordan basketball in America.

Luckily it's starting to shift back to smart, efficient, team-oriented stars but you still have a lot of dumb holdover fans from the Iverson/Kobe glory days who now like players like Melo and Westbrook and Haren. It is whut it is.

THis happens constantly with chucking ballhogs like Kobe, Arenas, Marbury, Westbrook, Harden etc. who dominate the ball so much that inevitably over the course of the game a few of the kickouts with 2 seconds left on the shot clock will fall and pad their assist totals. It doesn't mean the team wouldn't be better off running a real offense.

People still eat peanut butter and jelly?

Peanut butter and brown sugar, peanut butter and honey, and peanut butter and banana are all much better combinations.

If you ever find yourself in prison, believe me you'd want the jelly and not peanut butter at your disposal.

You do realize, that LeBron has almost the same usage rate if not a bigger one than Kobe?

Hakeem Olajuwon never won anything in 7 years before playing without Robert Horry, despite playing along side Hall of Famer Ralph Sampson. In fact, the Rockets the season before acquiring Horry, the Rockets were a 42 win team and misses the playoffs. The following season with Horry they improved to a 55 win team and made it to the second round of the playoffs. Then they win back-to-back championships. Horry went on to win 5 more championships with the Lakers and Spurs while Hakeem never won again despite playing with Hall of Famers Charles Barkley and Scottie Pippen. Just a coincidence, right?
