But then again, I'm not sure when the whistle was blown.

Westbrook went through a phase mid season where he started doing it a lot, but usually it was ignored by the refs and he just fell to his ass. Sometimes the refs fell for it. I think he wasn't getting enough calls for it hence why he doesn't do it as much now.
