He may or he may not but if he does it's because his ceiling is higher. If he really can develop as a PG he will be a nightmare mismatch. If he's an SG he could be good because he can bring up the ball in spots too. He's long and fast and athletic as hell. He will not be good next year, no way. However, he has the potential to be really really good. He will either be a total bust or and absolute beast. But if he ends up being a good player it will take at least til his third year. That's how I see it.

He will suck next year, might go off a couple of times if he gets the minutes and that will be it but I bet he is going to be a damn good SG once he gets stronger and consolidates the work he is clearly putting in.

I don't understand those projecting him to be a PG, is it because he is skinny and fast? He isn't even that explosive by the looks of it, lateral movement and first step look just fine, nothing impressive. Dude jumps out of the gym though, that's for sure.

Those handles are suspect but it's true that many guys with superior athleticism at that age share the problem of the high bounce. It will be critical for his development that he corrects this problem ASAP or he will be limited to a shooter that can run the floor and put up inflated numbers on an uptempo team...Gerald Green basically. He is raw as fvck now, rookie Eric gordon looks like Mike Conley compared to him but I'm excited with the potential, man, really good SG prospect.

Only reason he's compared to Westbrook is due to being an athletic "point" guard at UCLA. Westbrook was a bulldog defender, even in college, and had little trouble attacking the bucket.

LaVine, on the other end, makes Nash look decent and probably couldn't attack the basket against slow pokes like J'Mison Morgan and Joshua Smith.
