View Full Version : How exactly is Melo going to the Bulls better than him going to the Hawks?

People are really relying to much on D Rose coming back strong. He's done, he'll never be near the same. The Hawks have a much better supporting cast for Melo and a system that would fit his game perfectly. He would see much more success in Atlanta. Honestly Melo on the Bulls would see about as much success as he had on the Knicks.

I think it's because the Bulls' defense is so strong that they just need a dynamic wing scorer. Now, Melo on ATL would make their offense just lethal, but would they get key stops? I mean they could win shootouts and try to blow their opponent out of the water, but would their starting 5 get it done defensively? It's an interesting thought, for sure. To be honest, Horford does get freak-injured a lot too. In another thread, I suggested Chicago try to pull a fast one on Dolan by trading Rose + future 1st for Melo in S&T. Who's betting that Dolan won't keep losing trades just because Phil Jackson works for him now lol?

He can be an asset to either team.

But I think he makes the bulls exponentially better by going there.

Why talk about Carmelo going to either when neither is realistic at all. Bulls ownership is waaaaay too cheap.

Bulls are committed to winning. They are committed to winning a title. Bulls have a better organization, better better coach, and better system. Hawks are committed to staying just good enough to make the playoffs so they can make a bit more money. Hawks are the epitome of a organization that will forever stay middle of the pack because they are not good enough to sign great players but they are not bad enough to get a top pick that will change the franchise.

Couldn't have said it any better. In this league, it's hard to turn it around if you're in the middle. No good picks at the draft but no chance at a title either.

Unless you're the Cavs. :lol :lol

So basically what you're saying is you don't want to see teams step out of that middle of pack mentality? Awful NBA fan you are. I guess as a spoiled Lakers fan that would fit your agenda, better chance to keep them on top.

And them not being good enough to sign good players won't change until they sign a good player.

Why do you respond like such a dickhead when I give you a logical, non argumentative and correct response? You know why? Because you have nothing to respond that can back your claim and you know it. Your response is that I am a terrible NBA fan. You have looked like an idiot on everything you have responded to me today. Can you even respond with logic to my previous post?

What you said was, "I want to see the same teams get the good FA's over and over." Awful response as an NBA fan and you won't see change in that until you actually see top FA's go to other teams.

Melo on the Hawks would be perfect. Top notch front line, strong PG, some good floor spacers

Pretty much. The GOAT treadmill franchise since moving to Atlanta.
