Paul George: "Looking at the stat sheet, we outplayed them. You got to give them credit. They won this game at the free throw line."

Paul George: "It's just demoralizing when the game is lopsided."

Paul George on the free-throw discrepancy: "It's just demoralizing when the game is lopsided."

PG: "I thought we did a great job, we rallied at the end to try to make a push but again, they made 30 FTs. That put them over the edge."

Paul George: "You can't tell me we don't attack the basket as much as them."

Paul George: "Maybe it was just home cooking."

Even SportsCenter was baffled? Shocking. What was their "Heat Index" tonight, btw?

I agree that Miami outplayed them, but using ESPN as an supposedly unbiased source when it comes to the Heat... the game spoke for itself. Stewart Scott sure as hell doesn't speak for it.

To be fair to George, when Capers officiates the Heat they have a record of 22 wins and 2 losses. And when Dan Crawford officiates them in the playoffs their win percentage is 30 percent higher than when he doesn't.

But to have them BOTH officiate the Heat in a game vs them? That's brutal and you aren't going to come away with the W. People who bet on sports and are serious about it already know about these things though.

Apparently ESPN doesn't look into nor is aware of stats like those. I'm sure in their eyes the refs have no biases and can do no good. Because well, Steve Javie told them so.

It's the EC finals. 50% shooting will get it done 99% in the regular season but when you are playing the world champs in a critical game in the finals, doing all the other little things need to be done. Miami's 5 TOs vs 14 TOs. Fewer mistakes. Miami had that swarming defense that kept Indiana frustrated all night. It definitely affected Stephenson and Hibbert. They were non-factors. They can't be non-factors if Indiana wants to have any chance.

Not gonna lie, Pacers got screwed by the refs. There were definitely a few questionable calls in this game. D-wade flop, phantom calls on Hibbert. I still think the Heat played better but this game shoulda been closer. Still nowhere near the level of favoritism the pacers got in game 6 against the Knicks last year however.

A flop isnt a questionable call. It looks like a foul unless you have replay.

Hibbert was the worst player on the court. Taking him out the Game was actually beneficial.

Heat got some home cooking, but not enough to blame the officiating on the loss.

I would say double the fts is definitely enough for a cause for concern. Especially considering there is a foul that the refs could call on just about every play.

And the Spurs got 16 FTs to the Thunder's 9 in the rest of the quarters, so refs were siding the Spurs for 3/4 of the game?

Indiana had terrible offense precisely because no fouls were being called, the refs let the Heat defenders get away with too much.

I don't think either games were rigged tbh. 22 free throw discrepancy is huge, but OKC was more aggressive, like the Heat tonight. I can't count how many stupid shots I saw Indiana take tonight. PG himself had 5 turnovers and the Pacies did a lot of stupid shit like fouling on the fast break layups. The guy is the most overrated player in the NBA. and he has been a huge disappointment in the playoffs.

Paul George went from the verge of being a superstar last year to becoming a player seen as a loser. What a complete fall from grace. He has a losers mentality and he's mentally weak. Complete opposite of Lebron.

Poor man's T-mac. He also looked like T-Mac.

So when it's OKC, ISH crashes and there's multiple threads claiming it was one of the, if not the most rigged game of all-time. Miami has a game where they double Indiana's FTA's and...one thread? Think it's pretty clear who's insane stans are running the asylum these days.

For real, this

THIS! It's a loser's mentality that reverts to conspiracies about ref favoritism and rigging. All games have an element of luck to them. To rely on luck for the win, means you are simply not as good as your competition. Bronze owned George's comments after a 30 sec glance at the stat sheet. It's so lame that there is no one on Bronze's level to pose a real challenge. Such a watered down league, void of any superstar talent, other than Bronze. If only Kobe was some years younger. The rest of the challengers are phony.

George is pouting like a bitch, but he has a point.. For all the "FT35" nonsense, Bron and his team get the benefit of the doubt each and every time. If they're not getting the whistles, they dont get any called against them..

Each and every time? Did you watch Game 1? When the FT disparity was WORSE in Indiana's favor? Yeah, ok.

Pacers had a +22 FT advantage in game 1 compared to heat having a +17 advantage in game 4:oldlol:

Paul George: "Looking at the stat sheet, we outplayed them. You got to give them credit. They won this game at the free throw line."

Paul George: "It's just demoralizing when the game is lopsided."

Paul George on the free-throw discrepancy: "It's just demoralizing when the game is lopsided."

PG: "I thought we did a great job, we rallied at the end to try to make a push but again, they made 30 FTs. That put them over the edge."

Paul George: "You can't tell me we don't attack the basket as much as them."

Paul George: "Maybe it was just home cooking."

Not quite, but Indiana has shot more free throws this series than Miami has.

Let's ignore the fact that Indiana turned the ball over twice as much, while Hibbert and Lance both sucked dick the entire game.

It's astonishing how blatantly obvious it is that most of the people complaining either didn't watch the game or are just being homers. Indiana played bad, plain and simple. Blaming the refs is just an excuse to not admit how badly they played.

astonishing is definitely a good description...but my guess is they just don't want to accept reality. I mean if PG believes that the way they played last night was exceptional enough to win them the game, then how much can you blame the fan/homers when the "star" of the Pacers can't even see that they weren't all that great to begin with :confusedshrug:

Right. And the other two times where San Antonio grabbed and/or wrapped up Adams to prevent an easy dunk were, what, just unintentional?
Ok that's fine but now will you account for all the hacks Indy were doing to stop the fast break opportunities for the Heat? There were about 9 FT from that alone, or the missed clear path foul that Stephenson committed that wasn't called?

Face it. This game wasn't close to the WCF game. I don't believe in rigging like you guys but a single quarter with a 22 ft disparity is obviously gonna get more threads

Gold Swagger -- Literally

Saying the Pacers outplayed the Heat in Game 4 wasn't Paul George's boldest postgame statement Monday.

The massive gold chain was.

Wade looked like he didn't really give a shit what Paul George had to say, but Lebron looked seriously pissed off haha; the way his face went all creased. Probs drop 40 and blow pacers out next game now.

Paul George is genuinely retarded though: down 15-20 points for large portions of the game and yet the Pacers 'outplayed' the Heat.

FCK Paul George. He didn't say shit about free throws after game 6 of the ECSF last year vs the Knicks, when the Pacers took a mind blowing 46 free throws to the Knicks 18, for a difference of 28 free throws in a 7 point game. The Pacers were +69 for the series over the Knicks (176 to 107).

He should learn to not bite the hand that feeds him.

:applause: :applause: :applause:

That series still pains me.
